I like both the black pen and the colored pencils. They add texture, mood and a visual interest that supports the painting. I found this demonstration and the piece to be very calming. The colored pencils support an intuitive approach. I like this very much. However, when using the black, I love how line weight becomes the hero of the story. So.... just do it! Let the force be with you.
I really enjoy watching you create art. I think of all the artist here on RU-vid you have had the biggest influence on me. Before I would try and copy your pictures and now I’m just creating my own but your influence is there and mine even put a smile on my face.
I want to thank you for being you and sharing your art here for everyone to enjoy. I found your channel a few months ago, and went on a CeeCee binge. I had recently begun to try and use watercolor with little satisfaction. Your channel has helped me in so many various was. The combination of your relaxed method of creating art for yourself, the calming music you choose to play while painting and I must say you have a most soothing voice with the occasional giggle. These things plus more have helped me learn to enjoy letting the watercolor do its own thing and not try and make it do what its not capable of doing. I’m use to working with acrylics, not surprising they do not work the same way. I love your morning art and look forward to it everyday. During these stressful times I fine myself searching out your channel to help me relax and unwind at the end of day. So again thank you for begin your amazing , sharing self.
I had an incredibly stressful day today and came home and actively sought CeeCee out and was thrilled to see a new video as your calmness and soothing voice was exactly what I needed tonight. Love your channel & this idea!! I am 62 & kids crafts have been my go to ‘art’! Now that my Grandkiddos are teens & are no longer into GMa crafts I wanted to try something new & have always loved water color. I’m not great at trying to make flowers etc. and was getting discouraged & all but gave up. Then I discovered your channel & I’m loving it again! I have always been a doodler & love how you mix colors & use simple shapes!! I’ll never have your skill but now I can make a circle & turn into a flower!

I love the music, too. The combination of the music and the softness of the flowers and leaves makes watching this so peaceful--like combining creativity with a spa experience.
I really like your choice of colours, they are never ones I'd pick but I always love them, almost in spite of myself LOL I like pencil textures, I've seen artists who blend them so the textures are almost invisible, but in a way I feel that wastes the media, so leaving those rougher textures in is pleasing to me.
This is the first that I've seen you use coloured pencil and I like it! There is a texture there that adds to the doodle. It feels more whimsical - which I like. Thank you!

Love it! Ink doodling is great and you are excellent at it, but I think the color pencils are even better. They compliment the softness of the watercolor so well. I also think you have more control with them. Keep these coming. Thank you for sharing

I love the colors you used and I love the doodling with both black and the colored pencils. I often mix my watercolor with color pencils. I don't know why but I love the look!

I love being reminded that there are many options for the media we use (and mix). I too often get stuck in a rut and this is a great reminder that there are no limits in this world of art!

I just came across this channel! I fell asleep yesterday watching these, not out of boredom, but out of relaxation and “disconnecting from the world”. It also inspired me to paint and doodle today!
Loved this tutorial. Used my water colours and water colour pencils then touched in the water colour pencils with a wet brush to highlight the pencil marks. Lovely!
I like the combination of doodling that you did in this painting. I also like when you doodle with just a black pen. Both look very nice, and I enjoy watching you doodle!

This piece reminds me of some of the IKEA fabrics and that’s a good thing, because they have a lot of nice designs. I like the doodling with different media
Doodling with black is common. The idea of using color pencils is cool and it looks equally good..very beautiful picture. Golden seems like a staple for you😊

Thank you for being you. As with others who have commented, I am learning to "play" with watercolors at a late date. Everything is new; your comments and excellent videos are so helpful. Love the look of this piece; as you say it is "soft." Now I want to try the colored pencils on watercolor. I am from the era of "it has to be perfect," and "don't do anything wrong," (!) which intellectually I know hampers creativity but I still struggle with that concept. Thank you for talking about "mistakes" and how to deal with them.
