If you drink plenty of water regularly and at regular intervals (like 20-30 minutes before each meal and perhaps an hour afterwards), I understand that your body should adjust after a few weeks (maybe 2-3).

I just finished a year of no heat and I wore my hair in two strand twists the entire time. I retained so much length which I can't seem to do when I use heat

This really motivated me to take better care of myself! I haven’t been having a good relationship w food and water and I have been feeling really bad me tally lately so I haven’t been getting proper hygiene or sleep. I just took a shower, got myself a full meal! (Black beans, Tofu, and a Salad, I’m vegetarian) and a glass of water. I finished mostly the whole thing and now I’m getting ready for bed! Thank you so much for posting this you rlly don’t know how much is has helped me :)
The whole concept of not like drinking water considering it doesn't have a taste for you not to like. Not unless you're a pro water drinker and can tell then difference between the "taste" of water
My question is: does it work to do a protein treatment, wash and deep condition all in one day??? The following is my weekly routine: 1. Do a protein treatment and leave it in for 4 to 6 hours 2. Wash my hair with water and condition to detangle 3. Wash my hair with clarifying shampoo and condition 4. Deep condition with heat, keep it in overnight and wash my hair with water the next day 5. Continue with my weekly routine (moisturizing, styling, etc)
Thank you for these important reminders. I work nights and I definitely don't get enough sleep. Getting enough water is a constant battle for me, but I am aware of it so I am intentional about it. I also use an app called Lose It and it tells me the quality of my meals each day and I am also not getting enough protein! I will definitely work on doing a deep conditioner 2x a week: one for stengthening and one for moisturizing. I hear about people who tell me they don't like the "taste" of water. I usually suggest using a tea without an milk, sweetner (except Stevia) or lemon... just the herb and water, and that will work as a replacement. It becomes "flavored" water and the herbs are good for you, too. Think about peppermint tea instead of coffee.
Can you still deep condition with your hair in braids? I don’t wear my hair out at all, I keep it braided under my wig so I only deep condition when I wash (every 3 weeks)
@@flagranti.maya0146 it depends on how long the moisture take to get in your hair. you can do it up to 30 mn , rinse it out and see how your hair feels

I'm mixed and my hair used to grow fast but about a year and half ago I had to cut my long curly hair off bc I kept putting it in a bun and it got to the point where I couldn't brush it out in the shower and it started dreading. I had to get it all cut off to the point where I couldn't put it in a pony tail. I literally cried smh. Now it seems like my hair is growing so slow! Def need to make some changes! 💖
@@celestine7126 I do too but I wasnt washing or brushing it through so it got to the point where IU t started dreading and couldn't brush it out. I usually wash my hair about twice a week now.
Wow! Your hair speaks for itself as to how well it works, your skin is fantastic too! It's amazing what taking care of ourselves can do.....I mean, I wouldn't know personally , but I see & hear good things. .lmao I'm curious, have you ever tried fermented rice water? I've been wanting to try it but I know part (probably a big part) of why it works so well for Eastern women is because their diets aren't filled with processed foods, sugars etc. Hmmm... I see a running theme here. Just once in life somewhere, it would be awesome for the best results to come from the quick and dirty way..LOL

Maryam Hampton coconut oil is for hair that is high in porosity. If coconut oil doesn’t agree with your hair, your automatically low in porosity . Knowing your hair porosity can help you in choose products that agree with your hair ♥️

My mom definitely do not like or drink water. At least nearly not enough of it. She will drink water if she's taking medicine or alkaseltzer (however u spell it).
I have gotten better with drinking water...but I still could improve (I'm a juiceaholic...100% juice, though). 8 glasses of water seems sooooo much. How can I even find time to drink that much? Lol. I' just not that thirsty. Sleep...that's a different story. I'm horrible at that. My hair has been growing better this last yer, though. I have been using chebe, etc. Will definitely get this oil, though!
