How To Downgrade & Mod Xenoverse 2 EASY After DLC 17 or ANY DLC

Join The Citadel Discord to get the old patcher (located in news tab) - The Citadel: / discord
BACKUP YOUR SAVE DATA BEFORE ANYTHING!
FOLLW THESE STEPS:
1. Press "Windows Key+ R" and enter/(copy/paste) - steam://open/console
in the box, and press OK
2 : In the "console" menu in steam copy "download_depot 454650 454651 (manifestid)".
FOR NOW it should BE THIS EXACTLY (copy/paste):
download_depot 454650 454651 6515942529072239753
Copy and paste that into the console, press enter and be done.
The number at the end will change in the future, which can be found by looking at XV2 in steamdb under it's public depots and finding the last update that eternities tools support.
steamdb.info/a...
Press "Enter" when you have everything right
3: Wait for the download to finish with a message saying "Depot download complete : "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_454650\depot_454651
Go to that directory to get them, and copy, paste those files in the XV2 directory.
You have learned how to downgrade xenoverse 2 for mods. Should be a pretty easy downgrade because it doesn't require depot downloader
Download Old Patcher:
Where the patcher is - The Citadel: / discord
After you have downgraded and downloaded the old patcher, just copy/paste the files like usual.

xenoverse 2 mods install 2024,

xenoverse 2 mods after update,

xenoverse 2 dlc 17 mods,

xenoverse 2 eternity tools,
dragon ball xenoverse 2 eternity tools,
xenoverse 2 update dlc 17,

This is currently the only way to play mods after the DLC 17 update, you will need to downgrade your game. Please follow all the steps in the video (also in the description), backup your save data, and to get the patcher tools, you will need to join the Citadel discord server where it will be available in the news tab. Leave a like on the video and share it with others that want to mod the game. I'll update ya'll once new tools are ready for the latest update. Thanks and have a great day!

7:20 there is a way ro check the progress, go to files, main disc, prog files x86, steam, steam apps, content, app_454650, depot_454651. then hover ur mouse over "cpk" folder, and itll say the size, which is the progress pretty much.

We sadly probably wont be getting an updated Patcher until after the Festival Of Universes is over. It updates the game pretty much every week that it's around and the final update is probably going to be sometime in December or so (I haven't been keeping up with it since I've been a little sluggish on my console version of the game, so I'm not sure how many weeks are left) This isn't even counting the amount of time it'll most likely take Eternity to update the patcher after the Paid part of DLC 17. We probably wont be modding like normal until sometime early next year.

I remember another way for depot download, which uses a bat file that's made in Notepad instead of the Steam console mode and that worked, I had to do this a month ago because my computer was messed up and I had to reinstall it in factory state. I have Steam offline so it doesn't force update my game.

Hey guys, if you're having "Depot download failed" error, check for any mistakes you might have made, a missing number, an extra space, anything, and if everything is correct and you're still getting it, just spam it, i know this sounds weird but, i had the exact same problem, after spamming it a few times out of anger, one of the times, it started downloading.

I just got tired of having to do this every time a dlc came out i would spend several hours trying to edit movesets with modded moves on many different moddded characters and when id open them up in the chatacter edit theyd all say "select skill"

I figured out the problem for myself. Is your xenoverse downloaded in another hard drive or usb space other than the drive that comes with your pc? Because I had downloaded xenoverse 2 on a separate hard drive since I was low on space, and this error kept popping up and I couldn’t figure it out. Then I switched my game to the original disk space of my pc and then I was able to download the downgrade!

The downgrade process varies depending on your internet. Took around 15 min for the download and the actual modding process only takes a few minutes. It's not bad.

Yeah unfortunately you need to be online to verify the files. You only do that if you have issues. Generally everything should be fine if you clear your mods.

Make sure all the correct files were pasted in the directory. You can try to remove all mods and verify game cache integrity within steam.

Hi, I followed all the steps but when I start the game I get two problems : first my game do not open with the two bin files (I tried both of these "xinput" and "dinput" but not at the same time) and my game start without these files. Delete data folder(with all the mods)and copy the data from the patcher where the original data folder should be , it worked for me even if i had to reinstall the mods

I got all the regular things done with the video, but i have an issues with anticheat. I did everything in the video, but cant launch the game. I get an error message from anticheat saying that the xinput1_3.dll file we have to put into the bin is untrusted. Same with the alt .dll file.
