This was just the best! You have no idea how many videos for installing windows fresh on a new drive there are on youtube BUT they ALL skip something or run through it so quick like the viewer is a tech pro and they know exactly what they're talking about. If that was the case I don't think they would be watching a windows install tutorial. My point is that your video is the ONLY tutorial I found on youtube which takes you from scratch through all the steps in a clear and well paced manner all the way to the end. This is it, this is the Neo of windows fresh install to new drive tutorials! More than earned a sub! Thanks!
I’ve never installed any OS in my computer. I bought today a PC Gaming without the OS and with your video I could follow all your steps and it worked pretty well. I’m no an expert on tech stuff but with tutorials like yours, we can solve many things in our lives! Thank You very much!!
I used this guide to install Windows 11 on a corrupted Windows 10 PC that I was locked out of. It worked like a charm (I did it as a new install because I did not care about the data). Your delivery was amazing and that you guys decided to not be lazy and went ahead and utilized RU-vid Chapters properly was indispensable. I went ahead and subscribed. Thank you.
Can't think of anything you missed. I especially appreciate that you took the approach of removing the thumb drive, escaping the BIOS for greater good. You've shined light on the path through the biggest barriers to entry while being informative and respectful of the budding power user. Came here hoping to share and found the thing. Love & Respect
This has to be one of the most simple understandable instructions that I've seen on here, I accidentally deleted windows 10 while trying to download windows 11 and this was the video I used to fix it👍
You, my friend, are a saint! Thank you so much for this. I grew up using a Mac, but I recently decided to invest in a PC. No joke, this video made my setup process, unbelievably easier. Again, thank you!
Dude thank you so much my windows 10 computer was out of working order for two years then i found your video, followed the steps and now it works like new
@@WelcomeToDERPLAND Yes, they are, but your computer can be safer for zero-day attacks with a product key. I got a key for windows 10 & 11 from another channel, extraordinarily cheap and worked flawlessly.
Literally the best video to explain the process EVER. I looked everywhere to find on how to do this but nobody talked and went at a pace like you did that really helped for someone who isn’t used to this. My pc was stuck for 3 years never able to boot up and kept going in a loop. At this time I’m waiting for it to do it’s things and really pray that it works and I can finally have my PC back to normal again 😭
I've done this over 10 times on the past 2 years and i always forget some steps during the process or encounter some new issues and this video has always helped and clarified everything. This is definitely the best and most thorough video about windows installation, highly recommend.
First time in my life that I am actually having fun with this tutorials. I am no newbie to IT, but now and then I need help to remember the basics. Master! My respects!!
@@Someguyto yes you can. but it will be a mess. too many folders only for windows and then you maybe will install games, download movies. better build 2 partitions, if you have 1tb hdd, set 400gb for os and the rest for drive d
I checked out about 4 or 5 videos and this one was so much better! Thanks for taking the time and for all the great details missing from all the others. Those added explanations especially about the partitions and deleting drives really helped. Thanks!
@@HelpCloud these videos are actually perfect advertising why people should buy a Mac,fuck windows, i am stuck after a blue screen that refuses to reset, this usb thing is my only option after much research
Dude, Thank You!!!!!! After viewing over 50 Install/Re-install videos from a USB, I finally came across your tutorial. MY GOD, why does every one speak so fast and skip steps. Your video was well paced, to the point and the most education tutorial for us weekend/part time geeks.
This is the first time I saw a video from you and I am impressed. You did not only go into details but explained it so well that even a non-techy guy like me had no problems following the steps. It's refreshing to find youtubers who simplifies technical stuff like you do. Thanks so much for this video, it really helped me install a fresh OS in my laptop. If only there is a ,'sort of' golden like button here, I'd definitely give it you sir! Keep it coming, you just gained a subscriber in me. Salute!
I thought i was stuck on boot loop and i removed the usb before the installation was completed , i restarted the installation process and it worked in the end , Thanks man !
Hi HC, Just watched you for the first time and just want to say Thank You. I’m not exactly a computer tech wiz but I know my way around one pretty well. Sometimes I’m unsure of myself and look for ways to confirm what I’m about to do and now I found it. Thanks for explaining things with visuals and on point instructions that get to the point. You got my 👍🏼 and I subscribed. Thanks Again.
@@HelpCloud please reply I have a problem with my laptop hp, when i boot with the usb key, my screen goes normal but after 30 seconds, my screen does like an old tv but colored. Watch the video on my channel you will see the problem
Totally ACE :) I can't thank you enough. I actually used this pen\Win 10 install on a hard drive that had completely failed, I was just messing around waiting for the new one to arrive, and thought what the hell, give it a whizz. IT WORKED FULLY INSTALLED. But I know I'm on a wing & prayer that I've a failing HD or system, somewhere. Thanks. No problem with picking up the Licence numbers
Hello, I wanted to reset my laptop,so i followed the basic steps of going into settings and simply clean the drive, but to my surprise after the reset my laptop wasn't working properly, it wasn't going beyond the welcome screen. I was completely in panic. After 5-6 days of searching the internet for solution and 4-5 calls to the customer care nothing worked and i competely lost hope. But just randomly found this video and after following all the steps, boom my laptop started working. Thanks a lot😊 Also i have seen that you are replying even to the latest comments even tho the video is about 2 year's old. Hats off man , appreciate it.
Perfect guide also in combination with your most recent one that goes more in depth into the Windows Media Creation tool. Building my first desktop this weekend and this guide has helped me feel much more at ease of being able to do this!! Thank you.
Hey man, just finished setting up my new build, and I just wanna say this video was invaluable for that final step of installing Windows. It felt like there was a lot of mixed messages out there, and this felt very straightforward and comprehensive. Seriously appreciate it!
Dude. Your video helped soooo much! I was able to follow along on my spare PC. I'm not a tech person, and I was actually ABLE to fix my blue screen of death and got my PC back running thanks to you!! ...sadly lost all my photos, but I'm happy to have it working again. Subscribed! 😀
OMG!!! Thank you so much for your amazing step by step guidance. Nobody but you said to remove the usb from the port if the computer keeps rebooting... Its working now thanks to you....
This tutorial solved an installation problem when Windows was downloaded from the USB drive but kept rebooting. When it says it is going to restart in 10 seconds you have to either remove the USB stick or make the computer boot into your C drive and not the USB drive. This could be avoided if when first entering the bios NOT to move the USB drive to the top of the boot priority list. Leave the list as is and click on the drive you want the installation to boot from. Then when the restart occurs it will continue with the installation by booting to the drive you chose for the installation. Many thanks.
Thank you for this! I was trying to download on Mac and now I realize I need to be on a windows device and download the media creation tool. Definitely will be stopping at my local library to install this!
I love the Asus with the Intel i7 for sure! it's not always about the gaming but the smooth longevity! Thanks for the content. It was quickly spoken and covered just about everything that needed to be said for this process.
I have spent 3 days. Yes DAYS, trying to get my computer to update windows. I have tried everything including live chatting with Microsoft support and was getting nowhere. Every time the update would fail and revert back. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO! I finally got the update to overide the corrupted files and this worked!!!
Thank you so much, I got praised for fixing a laptop using your video, honestly thought I was screwed when I completely wiped the harddisk including the OS but I have been saved x) Thank you again :)
PC shop was going to charge me $400 to install a new SSD, reinstall Windows 10, and download all the needed drivers. Insane. These videos help, thank you!
Thank you for mentioning to remove the flash drive. I got stuck on that before. Also wanted to add that the otions with "N" after them are for different regions. They don't include Windows Media Player and other features involving music or video.
Thanks for a clear and concise tutorial. I only had to repeat bits a few times (because you are too quick for me). As for preferred operating system, my vote is for Win7 Pro
This is Windows 10 Pro. This may be what you are looking for. Once downloaded, you can use Rufus to create the USB drive. www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
@@ToolFist598 I have a problem, I’m literally crying. I put the usb in after I booted the pc. Then when I let it do it’s thing it kept saying preparing for automatic repairs and I’ve tried so many solutions but none would work. I can still boot to the bios. I suspect there is something wrong with my motherboard. Please help!
@@derangeddoffy Ok I'm not real sure where you in the process so have you already made your flash drive with windows 10 on it? If so you would want it plugged in before you started your pc then you would go into your bios and change the boot order so that the flash drive is what your pc boots to.
This was the first time EVER reinstalling windows from a USB Drive, and it went great... Going from a HDD to a M.2, the results are so great. Thank you for your great tutorial man, I really do appreciate it.😁
Got the dreaded "reboot and select proper boot device" tried everything on the internet to try and fix with no effect. Just decided to reinstall windows and this video definetly helped me with the installation process, as I don't do this all the time, very helpful tutorial!
I was _more_ than happy and satisfied with Windows 7! I wish MS would have supported that OS _at least_ through 2025. I have been using Microsoft Windows since Windows 3.1! I can honestly say that 7 was the *best* OS MS ever came out with with its sleek design and easy to use interface. Not to mention continuous updates that actually worked thanks to their software and development team!
ok so im stuck in a boot loop but its not booting mr into the setup its just booting me to the brand of computer duplicating the logo and shutting off. over and over and over
I'm a gamer and I like to help my friends out with PCs, I don't start up PCs a lot but I always come back to this video because it always gives me everything I need, props man!
When. going into the boot menu to try and boot from the usb stick it and after selecting UEFI it tells me The avalable devices will not change until a reboot. Please help. Thanks
Please Notice it's urgent🙏 I had created bootable installation media on USB to enter in WinRe to repair system. But repair didn't worked so I need to reinstall Windows. But I want to keep my data and files. And I have c,d,f,e,g,h,x drives and windows is on G drive and I want to keep the data of c,d,ef,h drives so what should I select while reinstall . Also before creating bootable USB do I need to set it to NTFS ? Please reply
First, I want to say thanks for clear straightforward way you presented everything in your video. I've built a number of systems over the past 10+ years and was always leery of using flash drive to install Win system. The next item I'd be interested in is updating BIOS on motherboard, my early education in builds always pointed out the BIOS update on MOBO could render it useless. But, thanks again - very informative and useful video.
Absolutely fantastic! Thank you for your help! Your explanation was detailed, I was even able to go into the bios and change the order based on your info.
Every time I get to the stage where you have to select the usb (4:48) I doesn’t show me any of that it just try’s to download it to my main drive and I don’t have enough space on my main drive
Thanks for the video. I just Frankensteined three old PCs and a couple extra parts I had laying around to drive a desktop cnc router I hadn't touched in about 6 years. The hard drive still had windows 7 on it and it just wouldn't let me install 10. It took me a while to find this video but I had windows 10 loading by the time it was done playing. Thanks again!
A concise fact driven video full of actionable information. Thanks for the help. Windows 10 blew up on me during the May 2021 update and I was pulling my hair out.
it actually skips right over the part where I am having a problem. I had to do a million of these, got burnt out, got covid, trying to get back into the swing of things, but its not working. Too bad the tech is from when Bitcoin was born.
search for your hardware on google and download the drivers provided by the brand. If you are talking about the windows 10 drivers it will download automatically once you are connected to the internet
INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST DOWNLOADED WINDOWS 10 ON WINDOWS 7!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS MAN IS INCREDIBLE!!!
Thanks so much! I searched everywhere for guides and yours was by far the most helpful and concise. I now have a great SSD where my OS was moved and installed flawlessly thanks to your vid
No, but you will not havethe ability to customize your operating systems such as wallpaper change, taskbar settings & a ugly watermark that is always visible.
I’ve been trying to do this for months, MONTHS!!! Every video keeps explaining how to make the bootable drive but failed to explain how to use it. And then finding a good enough video explaining how to use it to reset my PC was almost impossible. Thank you so much, truly.
