If that doesn't help: 1. Press command and space to activate the search box. 2. Enter the name of one of the folders visible in the 6:30 minute of the video (I entered: Neighborhoods). 3. When Finder finds this folder, right click on it and select "Show containing folder” or something like this. 4. A folder with the game will open, in which you need to create a subfolder called "Downloads”.

Hey I know this is an old video which has been so useful btw! but for anyone who can help, I can get mods to work using this but I can’t get CC to work. I have cc enabled. I’ve reset the game. I downloaded the exact hair which was used in this video knowing it’ll work with super collection but it just isn’t showing. Any tips would be useful! Thanks!

Hmm so my files aren’t showing up in game when I’m sure I’ve done everything right. My files I downloaded are just documents and not zip files or rar so is that an issue or nah ??

So I followed all steps but for some reason when I download CC nothing shows up as a folder. Just a bunch of loose files. And if I drag them to my CC download folder the items don't show up in game. (I have all settings turned on to have CC in game). Any idea what is going wrong? Thanks!

WOW okay I HAD to comment because I am so grateful for this tutorial for a Mac. Every other one has been windows but this one was so clear and exactly what I needed and I followed it all and now I have my CC!! Thank you 🙏🏼

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was able to install the body shop and the package installer and everything went smoothly. However I can't find in the game any of the cc I downloaded. :( I downloaded quite few furnishing and decor pieces but they don't show up in the game :( I enabled custom content from the dialog menu as you suggested, but this didn't fix the issue. Do you know what might be happened? Thank you!

@@pastelpancake7113 i was able to make an account through the ts2 super collection launcher, but it still doesn't allow you to sign in on the browser version. it seems like it could just be a problem with their website in general

I GOT IT, someone on reddit was having the same problem. it seems like using an incognito browser allows you to download it if you're having problems!!

i did everything right but my furniture cc wont show in the catalog and i made sure everything was checked in the custo content box :(

I think it should work as long as you meet the minimum requirements for download. I have a Macbook Pro 2020 and I haven't had any issues so far!

@@jasidesigns i think if you want to install it you have to install rosetta 2 and itll prompt you to do that when you get ts2

@@jasidesigns no, my version is monterey with the m1 chip. So far ive been playing my copy of super collection and havent had any issues :) btw if it doesnt prompt you to install rosetta 2 after getting the game you can do it through the terminal, theres lots of tutorials about it

@@nathanjacques6667 Well i sucessfully got it, it was hard to get it if you want i could share you the file, by the way i thought it was needed for the cc but you can download cc without the body shop, you just do everything she did after that, and make sure to make the downloads from .rar to .package (just download the unarchiver and convert them) i hope i helped ☺️

Amazing video. Just for viewers, after you click to enable cc content, you have to restart the game. Silly me, it says that in the description, but you didn't mention it in the video, so I just wanted to mention it to everyone else.

Maybe you'e a Catalina user just like me and the paste name after clicking on containers is "com.aspyr.sims2.appstore", its the same process as its shown on the video but the paste name its different!

when trying to download a sim or something that would need to be downloaded with the sims2 pack installer the message “this content requires expansion pack data that is not installed” appears. is there anyway to avoid this? because it seems like everything i try to download that would need the sims2 pack installer this message appears even if it says the base game is only required

Yeah that might be the issue or you could also have bad cc that may be causing your game to crash! Slowly put cc into your game to see how it reacts.

Hello, my Package Installer has some issues, it just says "double-click a custom content package file to install the content", and when i do double-click the Package Installer, same note pops up with the only option to quit. What should I do, am i clicking the wrong thing? Please respond :(
