How to Download Videos from Facebook 

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! I had my wedding video of 10 years and could not find a way to save it and now I was able to save it again. My computer had crashed and I was not able to find a way to save the video. Thank you so much. Now I am off to RE-SAVE it to multiple sources.

fdown doesn't work, no option for high res and even when I do click it then I get told the video may be private and it can't download.

This works wel and the quality of video is good; however I tried it twice and it only downloaded 8 moniutes of my 80 minute video. Any suggestions?

This procedure doesn't work for most videos. It only works for certain public videos. For example, choose any video posted by any Facebook friend on their page. FB doesn't provide links from either the desktop or mobile version of the site. Clicking share doesn't offer an option to get a link to a video. Your choices are, Share Now, Share to Feed, Share to Story, Share in Messenger, Share to Group and Share on friend's profile. There are current no browser add-ons that can work with this common type of video, either.

Can anyone tell me why that when I try to download a video using FDown, no matter what link I put in there it downloads a video of a young couple announcing their pregnancy? In the comments it looks like it has worked for lots of people, but I always get the same video of the same pregnant couple grrrr.

Does anyone know how to download more than 1 video from Facebook post where there are several videos in one post? I can download only first video by copying page's code but not the second and so on.

As of 2/20/2022 all that needs to be done, is open it up in a new window. On the right side is a download button.

I was using this up until a month ago or so, it doesn't work 95% of the time anymore. Do you have another way?

My pc only wants to save the video in an html file. I changed it to all files but still doesn't work.
