0:00 - General 15:14 - Context Diagram 21:00 - Level 1 Diagram 24:10 - Level 2 Diagram 26:20 - Example This is the best explaination i have ever watched. Just making a timestamp for myself cuz I know I'm gonna be back when I need to draw DFDs again :')
The best thing about +BBarters is the way he explains, his expression, movement. It seems like he is talking to me directly. The information is rich. He knows what he is saying that is why he can explain so easily.
Many thanks for taking time to make and post this useful video.... you have lot of patience to tolerate such an annoying student...😁 Thank you once again.
it's really great helpful tutorial , i become very satisfied ,.no need to watch more tutorial on dfd design after seeiing this...... thanks for making this video.
waw!! amazing i like the way you explain it in simple terms, i hv been listening to my lecturer for 2hrs but i couldnt understand, da 38 mins is worth watching
Nice lecture, One note though was put the whiteboard to the side more and step out of its view so the audience can better see it. You are kinda crowding the board. Or pull the camera back and mark your spot on the floor with tape so you know how far to stand and do some test shots.
Thanks for such a perfect video.I want to add a little definition for processes,Their names have to be labeled with verb ,Because a process generally makes data transformation actions.
You said data stores are always having incoming and outgoing edges. I have seen DFDs which have only outgoing edges to a process. like , google map etc.
Great instruction, thanks. I am confused about what the process bubble really is. Should it be the name of the application that processes the data e.g. (Application ABC), or should it be the name of the process itself (e.g. Validate Data) or should it be the name of the use case e.g. Chatting functionality, blogging functionality as in your examples in the videos.
great upload.... thanks a lot for making dfd's look so simple...hope that the quality of videos improve...would also like to understand various data models of software engineering....please upload a video for the same...thanks in advance
At first i would like to thank you to make such a nice video to make to understand "How to create DFD". Really this is one of the nice video lecture. My question is - suppose in level 1 i have two complex process then how can i decompose it in further step. do i need to make two different level or in 2 nd level i should decompose both. plz suggest. its confusion i have. since you have written in your slide " Only those processes that merit being expanded need to have level 2 DFDs . Level 2 DFD completely describes any one process from the level 1 DFD."
