Great drawing of a tiger, you have a very good technique. Back in the 90s when I was attending art classes in senior high school using markers with color Pencils was never heard of. It was not a technique that artist used back then. Do you know when artist started experimenting with color Pencils and markers to create more fabulous and realistic looking art work?"🤔

I think copic marker pens were first popularised in Europe and America in the 1970's, they were used in Japan before then.

The whiskers made it look fake, just saying. Maybe you could have used the white Caran d’Ache pencil crayon instead of the pen then toned it down to make it blend into the fur by add some cool grays

I'm an professional artist and I recommend oil pastels or pastels if you don't have brush pens I have boths and personally oil pastels one is better

These are part of her online tutorial services and not meant to show her step by step process. This is more to entice people to by her tutorials. I'm currently reviewing her services and after I complete the each segment I will post my review but again art is best learned in a real class room setting or from books. It's mostly trial and error. The error mostly comes from lack of understanding how each art medium interacts with one another and the quality of art supplies used.

You can use water colours the same way if you're worried about the light fastness. :)

What markers are light fast? So far I haven't seen any except one set from some place like Walmart which supposedly is, but only has about 12 colors.

After you finished the markers, how much pressure do you put upon the pencils when you use them? Do you start lightly or burnish?

The colored pencils do the trick. I tried to do something similar with Prismacolors and is not close to the quality of this one in the video. The colored pencils are kind of expensive for my taste. good work, though!
