Seriously, the people worried about product placement, Shoo makes no secret of the fact he does things with Derwent. I know he is supporting a product that is supporting him and you know what? I dont care because I know if I buy art supplies, I will buy what I like. Most of us able to use free choice.
Shoo, you are the main reason I enjoy art as much as I do 3 Thanks to you (litteraly, it is because of you) I am happier, have a little more cash in my bank, have met new people, seen new places and above all, found what I truly enjoy doing! You help people in more ways than you realise! ~Blurrai xx
This was fun but very hard. Switching to pencils has been a whole new learning curve. I plan to work on this one several times to get it right. Thanks for your nice tutorial.
Thank you for this video! I have been searching for hours for a video on how to draw and paint seashells for an art project that I'm teaching. This is perfect!
Wonderful tutorial Shoo! Derwent is lucky to have you on board and, from other videos, it looks like you both do some really wonderful things for the art community.
Mr. Shoo I just want too say thank you for all the great video's.. they are so helpful and I just wanted to say this considering you might read it.. so again thank you for the artworks. :)
-This is my favourite video! :) And great advice, by the way, black tends to make a drawing look dirty, I learned it by the wrong way yesterday. Haha... I'm gonna try to use gray instead! :)
that's lovely shoo have you seen the pencil drawings of c. barley it starts with v shoo I've had a picture of his bought for me of a cat running up a tree thanks for the nice shell
Could you possible do a tutorial for stretching watercolor paper? Every tutorial I've seen uses the water activated tape, but I need a more portable method! Please, please, please!
swinking he is using a waterbrush which means to clean it he just has to wipe it on a paper towel while pressing gently on the tube. Hope that makes sense 😊
Yes in a cone! I thought it would be great for summer... If that turned out really easy you could do a Popsicle too... Thank you! I love your drawing tutorials!
Obviously they are! But they should be honest! Yes, you should say: Derwent pays me for advertising their products, Derwent pays me for putting links to their products... But you did not! And probably this has been key condition set by Derwent, hasn't it?
They give you some product and in return you advertise it... So Derwent pays you in products not in currency - this system is called barter. In previous videos you mentioned about "gifts" from Derwent, now you do not. What a nasty product placement!
I like your drawings and paintings, it is a pleasure to watch you creating them. But sometimes I feel that you are too pushy. You do not say that other good pencils are available (Faber-Castel, Koh-i-Noor, Prismacolor... For you there is only Derwent, because Derwent gives you "gifts". What a huge disappointment!
