The answer to your question is YES! I would like to see you teach us to draw.... but I am selfish and don't want you to stop drawing your gems. PLEASE give us all that you are able to give us TIME PERMITING in your life. I live alone with my little dog. I have twenty-four/seven to watch all the videos that I care to. I have a full set of Prisma Pencils and a full set of Copics- just for starters. I LOVE TO PLAY. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU!!!!!
Muriel!! I plan to continue doing Doodlegems every week through March 2017 and then will start an every other week schedule for gems. March will be when I hit week 52 of the series and that is WAY longer than I thought I would be able to do. LOL! We will see where the drawings and other doodles will take us. I will be sharing art lessons every week if possible and some times more than once a week. :)

Great suggestion! Do you have any other fruits you want to learn? I’m working on ideas for the coming months- maybe a month if simple fruit outlines and how to color them with colored pencils or watercolor?
I really liked this tutorial! I made a greeting card. I don't have all the colors in colored pencils, so I added pastel pencil for the touch of yellow. It still worked out pretty well! I hope you do more 'macro' drawings in the future! Thank you!

Yummy, good enough to eat. Make mine a key lime pie :-)... I love this color and the lime was the perfect subject. I've been trying to get back into doing something; yep, I'm so lazy and it seems to be feast or famine lol... I think these little studies without having to do a big composition might be just be the kick I need. It also helps that I got a comfortable chair in the last two days. I could almost smell the lime as you spoke about the aromatic oil. I like how you finished with the watercolor. I do like a variety of videos and subject matter, so I'm all in with you doing different things. Thanks so much for the time and effort that you give in putting forth these fun, informative videos. To answer your question about more drawings, I would say yes. I love your real time videos and even more the fact that you use Prismacolor colored pencils much of the time. I've been using them for 30 years. Unfortunately the ones I got 30 years ago did not break like they do now but I still love them. Also, I have had Prismacolor water color pencils and few if any people use them so I am able to attempt duplicating what you do in your videos. I like your relaxed manner and the lack of a lot of music which I find distracting. I have painted in oils for years but am toying with the idea of attempting to work with acrylics and to do your cardinal picture which is lovely.
This is great! These kind of videos help me a lot because I am a beginner at drawing so I like to follow along to some better artists from tutorials . I would love to see more of these! I will definitely check out your channel and subscribe. Keep up the good work!
