Both are fine, it all depends on how you position your pupil, how much detail you put into it and what your style is, there is not right or wrong way really
Unlike other artists on youtube, this man didn't draw a rough kindergarten sketch for the wrong part (other art youtubers draw like that to flex their skills and the vast diff between the right way and wrong way or something which is annoying and cringe because anyone pursuing art never draws like that)but genuinely drawn the eye on wrong part in a way which most of us do and can relate to. Mad respect my guy 👍
There’s something I’m curious about; if you were to draw a Transformer in an anime style, how would you draw the character with “anime eyes”? Because I know certain details would be different from human and Transformer eyes, but which details would you remove and/or swap out with it still looking like an “anime eye”?
You can draw "anime eyes" any way you want as long as you know the fundamentals of anime eye. It's of course a stylized version of real life, so if you don't know, then try to get the fundamentals of a real life eye. After that, see the changes between anime and real life eyes. Then learn the fundamentals of the eyes of a transformer. Apply the "fundamentals" to the transformer eyes. And also learn the color palettes usually used in anime. You can also use references. The way is to get the generic idea of how it works and experience is just as important. Then you can draw an anime eye in a transformer! At least this is how I would do it/suggest how to do it. Hope it helped :)
The shape and style of yes depends on the art style, the genre and the anime you're drawing it from for example, in dragon ball the eyes are kind of like a diagonally cut square/rectangle whereas, the first eye which you drew and sait that it was "wrong" is best suitable for yuji itadori's eye from jujutsu kaisen
I love this step-by-step guide and how deliberately he or she explained this process of creating the perfect anime eye. I would recommend this tutorial to any struggling or aspiring anime artist out there. Skip straight to the add details part for any experienced artist who wants to check up on there skills once and a while. Because of this video, I was elected to the official anime review committee in Japan and own six houses in 30 different countries (don't ask) and am making a salary of 780,000 dollars a year with a guaranteed pension of at least 400, 000 dollars working with a certain, undisclosed anime industry. A hearty thanks to the creator of this RU-vid short and a guaranteed subscription for the rest of my life.
this is a tutorial to do shadow's style, it gives the notion of lightnings for sure, but the rest is totally relative, the only thing that is in fact essential to draw a eye, is face proportions itself, and then the eye can be however u want following the real proportions do make it feel legit, like one piece exaggerated faces, it is weird, but feels realistic
Bro Thank you so much I've been practicing for a couple hours the face the head neck ears and now the eyes I managed to copy your tutorial and it looks so beautiful I can't believe I actually drew something realistic for once because I was so bad at art for years and now im using it as a hobby for my depression and I love it I can't wait to learn more im starting to like Art 💖
Tip for people who draw one eye but struggle to get the other eye to match. Don't draw the one eye complete before doing the other eye. Draw the upper eye lid for both first then lower lid. Thats what I do and it works for me
I draw My eyes like the top one. Online I do put a little more detail in the pupil and stuff depending on the character. Though I usually don’t do much with the eye lashes.
