The tip of going out and actually touching and getting a feel of the texture you are drawing is a great tip! I need to do that more often.

I'm so glad you liked it. Yes I had a look and most fur drawing /painting tutorials that I came across don't really show all the steps or show it in an easy to understand way. Crazy! but some were even making it harder with unnecessary steps. I get frequent questions on animal drawing and fur so I thought I'd make a tutorial. And by the way I will do a hair tutorial on Patreon as soon as we finish with the basic face structure. So look out for that too 😉💗

Good video. Do you use the same technique with colored pencils? I have Thomas Kinkade’s Disney Dreams Colection. I’ll try this on the animals.

Coloured pencils.. I would use a different technique , same principle though. Take colour into consideration as well (if working full colour). I might make a fur drawing tutorial in colour later on. :)
