In this video, I'll show you exactly how I draw in any style and how you can apply this to your own art and animation! MMANWU KICKSTARTER www.kickstarter.com/projects/... COMMUNITY CHALLENGE/MY INSTAGRAM / joshua__adeoye
I kinda like how this video confirms if U want to copy an style is just studing how the artist does lines, faces, and bodies and what each character shares in come on that's what I have done when drawing my spidersonas in styles like hazbin, skullgirls and other styles.
Bro you need AT LEAST three times the amount of views/likes you have what the hell?? The animated intro? The editing and video quality?? Insane work, wish I'd found ya sooner 🤯
As far as I know, most movies and TV show recreate their character designs from different resources/references either from their past projects or from other studios’ works. It depends on suggestions or polishing the appeal to fit the world.
BRO THAT INTRO IS INSANE!! Love all your videos, they're straightforward, and the little animations of yourself that you drop into the videos are gold 😍😍
Brooo! Only discovered your channel like a few months ago and it’s just been dope! Love how you reference the different artists work and name too so we can check them out! Thanks for sharing this man, your animation is on point as well 😂 looking forward to more content! 🔥🔥
I don’t know how you feel about this, but the majority of my characters tend to be non-humans, which is perfect for a space opera setting with plenty of aliens. First of all, my general aesthetic is meant to draw inspiration from the retro futuristic look of Treasure Planet. Secondly, my characters’ designs are meant to draw inspiration from Steven Universe or the Netflix reboot of She-Ra, due to the diversity of body shapes in female characters especially. Do you have any thoughts on combining those 3 art styles together?
Hmm, I feel combining the Steven Universe and She-Ra styles is the easy part. You just need to determine what exactly you like about each style (eyes, proportions, lineart) and put them together to create your characters. With Treasure Planet, I think the retro-futuristic look comes largely from the background. Not really the characters. Jim’s design and outfit look more retro than futuristic. So I think if you’re going for that look, try to let your backgrounds do more of the heavy lifting on the futuristic side. I’ll definitely talk more about combining styles in upcoming videos. Hope this helped!✨👌🏾
Amazing and insightful video once again! It was really interesting to see how your characters look in the style of different artists! Also love your character designs 🔥
As a person that draws as a hobby for some reason my art style is somehow a mix between Tim burton , Ronald searl, vivziepop and sorta classic Disney specifically mark Davis and milt kahl.
Thank you for this video!! I was struggling with artstyles for a while now 🙏 Btw do you plan on making animation tutorials? Because this intro and other animations are just *chef's kiss* 🤌 Literally so beautiful and fluid
I’m glad you like it! 🙏🏾✨I do plan on making animation tutorials! I just want to lay the groundwork with a few important character design videos and then I’ll talk more on animation!✨👌🏾
@@joshuaadeoye I think I give them a different facial structure every time I draw them, but I don’t know for sure. Luckily, my OCs are very unique in design (most of them are of made-up species), so I don’t think it matters much. That being said, I’m sick of people comparing my favorite OC to William Afton, one of my least favorite characters ever, just because she’s purple. (That’s literally the only thing they have in common both in terms of appearance and personality.) My biggest struggle with face-blindness is not knowing what my own face looks like. Until the age of 17 or 18, I thought I was basically a clone of my mom since we have the same pigments and similar hair texture. I thought anyone who said it looked like my dad was saying so sarcastically, but once I took the time to compare my facial features to my parents’ side-by-side one-by-one, I realized that pretty much all of my facial features’ shapes match my dad’s.
It's always a great day when I have one of your videos pop up on my subscriptions/front page! Thank you for all the work you put into your channel! And thank you for sharing MMANWU with your community!
I want to convert styles of chalkzone with Tysunomon's eyes. I tried putting them together with prevalent chins and that makes humble realistic characters. Like I'm going backwards where I want to be stylized while finding some format to make it realistical. The eyes wouldn't be idealized as much unless I made my Ant characters that I have with the next level of Egyptian art eyes into any shape alterations for what would make up their face.
Your videos are really great! Just one thing that I noticed: you often put suddenly very loud music, and it can be a bit annoying, maybe you should make it less loud. Except that, gosh this is so cool! You really put a lot of effort in the animation, it really make the video very dynamic, good job!
WOW! But wait, if someone is new to drawing, and their drawings look really bad, can they train to someday draw like you? It would be great to be able to draw in any style
From my experience, beginners improve even quicker than intermediate or advanced learners! I have no doubt that if you’re interested enough, you can!✨👌🏾✨
Yes or yes you are one of the top 1 artists on my list on RU-vid not gonna lie. Your stops are so helpful and I’m still learning and have a long way to go. I love finding people like you online and I will try my best on this project!❤ I’m done! And it’s on my insta! WHOOOO! I did as you told and now I’ll just sit back and watch… can’t wait for more tips though
I have a question Mr. Adeoye, if you don't mind. I'm a beginning artist, and when I want to copy artists I love, very often, I have NO IDEA how they did it. A friend told me to see if these artists draw in streaming (like on Twitch or on Picarto), but it's not always the case. So, my question is: What advices do you have, Mr. Adeoye, for beginning artists who want to understand the art style (shading, color, line, ...) of artists they like in order to improve their own drawing skills? Thank you for your attention ;)
Definitely! For now though, I’m sticking more to Character Design. Once I’ve covered what I consider the most important parts, I’ll talk more about animation!✨👌🏾✨👌🏾
My pleasure!✨ The film isn’t mine. The creator’s name is Uzo Ngwu. We’ve only created a trailer and you can see it on Kickstarter. (Link in description)✨Thanks!🙏🏾✨
Thank you!✨🙏🏾What helped me the most in my art journey was definitely anatomy. It was especially important for the specific style I draw in. Hope this helps!✨✨✨
