I didn’t know I needed to hear that not having a concrete art style is actually acceptable and fun. tbh, it’s making me anxious that my art is just not on the same art style. It keeps changing without me noticing not until I am almost finished.😅 Thank you for saying that. I feel validated and seen.
I agree about the art style thing a lot. I think the better you know your fundamentals and the more fun you have, the better your art will look. The piece looks great 💖💖
I agree with so much of this!!! I love experimentation in my art and artstyles, and “just going for it” :D Your art is GORGEOUS btw!!!! 💖 the “messy” rendering and colours really add to that soft vibe, I love it!
REASONS WHY I LOVE HER •she doesn't gatekeep what devices she uses holy shit •she actually dumbs it down for ppl who don't know what she's talking abt •SHE LITERALLY TAKES THE TIME TO UPLOAD FOR US •she's so good at what she does but also notices some issues with her art and fixes it instead of just criticizing it and not doing anything abt it •she let's everyone know the pros and cons abt things before buy them and recommends good tools for younger audiences that cant afford things like that •she tells us about things to be aware of: scamming, ai, etc. and gives such good advice! (i use some of her advice to help my digital art and it helped me so much thorughout the month!❤) •me, 12, has been drawing since i was about 4 and before I watched her, I had no idea how to do digital art bc every single creator never told what brush, canvas, app, and devices they use, but she tells EVERYTHING❤ anways I could list SO MUCH MORE that I love abt this account but these are the main things I love abt her❤
omg this absolutely made my day?!!? 😭💗 thank you so so much i appreciate you so much and im glad i was somewhat helpful :'D i truly have no words how grateful i am for this comment and for your support, THANK YOUU !
@@viyauraI was so shocked how fast you respond. no other content creator really responds to my comments! you're really down to earth and it makes me feel like I'm not the only artist that has "weird" ideas! I also really agree on how you should expand your art style! I just want to thank you so much for giving great advice for intermediate artists and starters! I'll definitely recommend you to my other friends that do art!❤❤❤
@@viyaurahey how do u install the brushes cuz I love ur stickers and I wanna get the stickers and the sticker sheets and I want to get the pro rate brushes I have pro crate pls tell me how to install it cuz idk how to and. Ur art is so good
Hey! Just discovered your channel! Absolutely love it. I’ve been trying to learn how to draw and yet I find myself getting discouraged every time i try because my brother is so talented and even my best work absolutely sucks by comparison. Your tutorials are helping with that! Hopefully I can one day become more confident in my work
thank you so so much! drawing is hard as we're constantly comparing ourselves to other artists but there's truly something super special about your own individual art. keep going, u got this!
Hii viyaura, is that the full dreamy sketch set on your artwork or did you use any other sets with it :) I’m interested in buying your sets they’re amazing!
Omygoshhh! This is my first time seeing one of your videos. Your art is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! 🤩 Immediate subscription from me. Your tips and especially your philosophical viewpoints really take your videos to another level. I have been doing traditional pencil and paper art for six years now....I'd like to say I'm happy with my work, but I have been wanting to transition into digital art for a while. My goal in doing this is to be able to also render and do all that fancy coloring (and complex color/art theory stuff). But I've had a mental block/barrier because I am just so overwhelmed with all of the complicated color theory and blending modes and such, that I'm just avoiding it. I don't know if you experienced the same, or if you jumped right in because you're an art god. But if you had any advice to share to boost my confidence, I would really really appreciate it!! ♥♥
Thanks for the art tips and advice, just recently got back from my hiatus😊 struggling to find my style and it overwhelms me so just going to do whatever comes naturally for each piece! So glad your video/channel showed up on my YT feed
I think just the hair part needs its own detailed video. Like can you explain that color vetween the dhadow and flat color. Looks like a yellowish tone and why its there ?
i LOVE that so much like it is incredble but you should draw that in another video but with no packs at all none nothing at all (not even your fav dreamy sketch) thx bye love your art
1:30 if the same dimensions are used it only provides me 10 layers, though this could be a device thing since my device is quite old. Anyways, great tutorial, simplified a lot of things for me ❤❤❤
Hi! 👋 I have a couple questions! So, I’m new to digital art, and of course I’m planning on getting a iPad and Apple Pencil. I was MAYBE planning to go to college for digital art BUT I was wondering how long it took for you to get THIS good being self taught? You’re so talented, but i also know it took work and dedication, I just wanted to know how long it took for YOU specifically. I’ve been asking other digital artists but some haven’t responded or they just didn’t give me much of an opinion or a specific answer to the questions I asked them.
hey how do you get your lines sizes to look different, like i love how your lineart varies in sizes depending on the part of the drawing! do you like change the size of your brush in different areas? 💓 also do you change the opacity of your brush too? or do you keep is full?
to make the line sizes different i just press harder (thicker line) or lighter (thinner line)! and i keep the same size and full opacity throughout-all i do is adjust how hard i use the pencil :)
for beginners in procreate and digital art, do you think ipad air would be good enough? or go all out for ipad pro? i have a corporate career so this would be a hobby only. thoughts?
How do you make your watermark? Not like literally with "your" name but in general how do you make a watermark for your art? Is it a special custom brush? Or like custom pic that was imported?
Also sorry for all the questions uhm do you know how to-do an art study? If so could you explain it cause some people say to do an art study and like how does one go about studying art like for example like an art style like soft anime or like just finding your own art style?
Ok im trying to learn how to get good at digital drawing and drawing in general, when drawing hair how would you move your hand with out making so shaky lines but still curved, do you need it to stand up? (The case you have) I don’t have a case that stands my ipad up. Also, how do you just know how to fit the eyes and hair on the body just so well?
r.e. resolution, why not round to 4,000 x 5,000 so you have a 4:5 aspect ratio? It's easier to remember a round number, and its a common format. And yes, 4:5 is largest in the feed on Instagram :)
this is the exact artstyle i wanna achieve some day, just starting to try and use procreate but i have no idea where to start so this video was so so helpful ur art is literally beautiful
This is the best tutorial and most encouraging video I’ve found honestly. Love how this came out, love the tips and the dumbed down explanations for people like me, honestly i’m so inspired.
Hello, I am a beginner and I want to animate. So which app is best for animation? Procreate or procreate design, if there are better alternatives for it, then pls let me know. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 inch.
i'm definitely not qualified to answer questions about animation since i've only tried procreate dreams :'D but you can check out my last video which is a review on it!
Just curious but can you go a little more in depth when it comes to after the sketch? The video just went by really fast and it was hard to keep up a little, so after the line art is made, when you add flat colors, do you make a new layer, cover the hair and face and the general area like that in the flat colors and is that layer on multiply? Or is it more layers up and it’s multiplied?
Also I’m sorry to be that person since you just uploaded but in the future is it possible for a longer video going into like the rendering of skin and such directly after the lineart that kinda shows how you separate it into layers, what’s multiplied and that kinda of stuff. I’m so sorry but I love your style anyway and appreciate this upload
@@mizutsune_slayer14 of course, no worries at all! i plan on doing more specific detailed videos like how i render hair/skin/clothes etc. and do it truly step by step. this one was just the basics and overall timelapse process so pls stay tuned!
Hey I'm new to procreate and just bought the brush set you recommended. After importing and selecting the brushes I can't draw with them tho. They don't seem to work any Idea why that could be ?
Hi! I’m back, I have another question. I was wondering, do you draw off of your imagination, or do you use references? Maybe like a pose or maybe a character inspiration? What would you recommend for a beginner? ❤ sorry if I’m asking too many questions 😭😭
Beautiful drawing! Could I ask how long it took you to notice an improvement? I’m trying to start and want to have an idea on when improvement is visible to the artist
