I think it is important when creating art that you learn to love your own unique way of creating. As a self taught artist I spent a lot of time trying to paint or draw like others and it was a very frustrating experience. I didn't have the confidence to embrace my own style of creating. Unique art that comes from your heart (and going with the flow of your own personal vibe) is going to be different, and that is ok, have fun with it!
