Hello, Sir The outcome was really amazing and it taught me the basics of fashion on online platform, using illustrator is really fun and it teaches us perfection. The video had a detailed description about :- 1] Basics of the Shirt ( front and back) 2] Using pen tool with the plus ( I think that way its easy to remember) 3] Exploring the curves by pen tool 4] Pathfinder tool and it subtopics 5] Understanding the importance of stitch lines 6] Details ( which are important in any garment) 7] Creating Buttons 8] Knowing the Importance Eyedropper tool 9] Making wrinkles on the shirt It was really very helpful and great to know how interesting the garments are and how we can create diversifications using one single point ( Anchor points ).

This video was very helpful and helped me to get a better grip on the concept. Few takeaways that I would like to include are: 1) The shortcuts used in this video- SELECTION TOOL-V DIRECT SELECTION TOOL- A PEN TOOL- P CTRL C, CTRL F, CTRL B, CTRL V EYE DROPPER-I 2) First start with one side from the collar to the sleeve and then use reflect tool (O) to copy the same mirror image on the other side. 3) I made a mistake by not closing my container because of which my color did not spread over the shirt completely. So, another point that I think is very important is to always close the container. In conclusion, I think this video has made my struggle with the pen tool go down completely. Thankyou Sir

so this video helped me a lot while doing today's flat shirt sketching and now I'm clear with my doubts. following are points which are covered in this video:- 1. collar ( can also be adjustable from direct selection tool as per your choice) 2. collar band 3.Placket ( using rectangle shape) 4. body ( make sure the body will be a container i.e. start and end on the same point) 5. sleeves ( make it little bit curvy) and cuffs ( curves and lines should be expressive to look realistic) 6. merging of corners by selecting the curvy corner option in stroke panel 7. select the body, sleeves and cuffs and go to reflect tool/ key O then double click and select copy option 8. adjust the second body and make a pocket 9.buttons 10. sketch of back side of the shirt by overlapping 11. using pathfinder panel

This video was a good recap. The basic keyboard shortcut options (CTRL B , CTRL F , CTRL C, V and A )are a great way to save time and make work easier. CTRL C and CTRL F keys together are important and easy way to make stitch lines for the shirt. Im still getting used to the pen tool. But its not as bad as i thought. Learning new things in your class is getting interesting and fun.

Very insightful learning the points which I missed unconditional are revised thoroughly. Brief about the video: - Use Pen tool to draw the shirt - Select anywhere on the line (not the edges) with the black arrow or selection tool and then press ctrl C ctrl F to copy and paste in front in every line where we need stitch lines - Open STROKES and select the dash line option and add the dash and gap as per the requirement - Group the front shirt after completing and make a duplicate layer out of it - Delete the extra lines and curves which are not required fot the back side of the shirt. -Use pathfinder to merge the lines Now reshape the lines and curves wherever required using white arrow Make cuffs using shape tool Again group the back side of the shirt by selecting the whole back part, right click and select group option.
