More Bianca videos please! I'm sick and tired of non realistic models, and She is perfect, pretty and shaped just like a normal woman, one of us! I really like your videos Chi!
She is more of a male/apple model, not a curvy,or hourglass figure model. More short women are big-busted and big round bottoms, not huge broad shoulders and flat butt.
Finally! Lots of shorter women are also curvy. This was a great video and, as usual, very entertaining with lots of really useful information. Thanks so much.
BEST and most useful video for me!!! I’m built just like Bianca and almost 5’ tall. I can see now why I always gravitate toward longer dresses. I would love to see more ideas for flats vs heels. I’m an older lady and heels can be risky. Please use Bianca more! ❤❤❤
I have chronic pain and cannot wear heels at all. A couple hours at a wedding or something, and I'm in excruciating pain. I need good arch support, shock absorption, and flat. Or no more than 1" heel.
Chi, This was WONDERFUL! I loved when you chased her around for the turtleneck sweater! LOL! The blue floral dress looked so pretty on your model. More please!!!
Some of these suggestions are rally good but you will never catch me wearing a dress. I hate wearing dresses, especially if they are long A-line dresses, matronly big time.
As someone who is 5'1/2" (5'0" according to my driver's license and 5'1" according to the Dr.) I wish that clothing stores would take into account that their clothes are not made for short people and it makes it hard to buy clothes that are going to flatter the shorter and more curvy body. I buy capris because they actually fit me like regular pants. If I buy jeans that say petite, I have to hem them up because they are still to long on me. Thank you for sharing how to dress a short curvy woman, but please share this with the clothes makers, that don't use plus size models who are shorter.
Chi, I'm so happy that you chose this particular young lady for your video! I feel so seen! Even though I bigger than her but her body shape and proportion is in line with my figure! I cannot stress this enough, that I truly appreciate your channel and everything you do!
This is a great video! I gained weight during Covid and I don't know how to properly dress my figure anymore. Chi's advice has guided me so that I make better clothing choices and feel more confident in those clothes. I hope there are more videos to come similar to this. If you need a short 50 year old woman (with a lumps and bumps)as a model, I'm in!😁
Covid weight gain for me as well, along with some other factors. My job is normally very busy and chaotic. Before covid I could do 5,000-10,000 steps at work.(and my job is administrative). With covid the transportation industry pretty much crashed so I sat down alot more at work. Then I quit smoking cold turkey. Not as hard as you would think. And I turned 50. Yes I'm old. Hormones are chaotic. For the first time in my life I have a belly. It has been challenging getting dressed. These are some good tips, but I cannot wear dresses to work. Dark colored jeans are a favorite of mine , but a high waist is out of the question. They just come up too high and dig in when I sit down. A proper mid rise is best for me. I know, I went way off topic, but I never see anything for someone shaped similarly to me. It's always too big, or too small.
I'm so happy to have watch this one! I usually look at your videos 3-4 times a week as I'm 5ft 136 lbs and this one particularly pleased me as I'm a little chubby with a ... sigh... tummy! So many thanks and keep bring us more of Bianca and curvy girls suggestions. Many thanks.
It's really helpful to see this kind of advice modeled by someone who it applies to! I've seen so many style tips and tricks articles and videos where the model is actually much slimmer than the people the advice is meant for, which makes it hard to tell if the outfit suggestions worked or if it's just that the model is thinner
I watched your dark night of the soul video and I want to thank you for making that. My situation is a lot worse and I am also very private. I don't go to counseling and don't have a social media outlet to use for self expression as a healing tool. Your message - It's always darkest before the dawn - cheered me up a bit. I hope this message makes you feel the same cheer.....I was widowed twice, once in 2008 and again in 2019. It didn't affect me as much as what happened with my children. Please count your blessings. You have a husband, a child, family to spend the holidays with, vacations to Mexico and I am sure the list goes on.....my blessings - I have a cat who is due to give birth soon! And I have a roof over my head, food in the kitchen and 100 full hangers in the closet. I'm retired. I volunteer at a thrift store once a week and have a nice community of friends through the shop. I enjoy the weather in my corner of the world - mountain Maryland. I can use my legs to walk a few miles every day. I like my hair. I wrapped 24 gifts this weekend for my friend's baby shower ......
My favorite look for her is the skinny jeans and strappy nude sandals. I also like the blue floral dress and the long green one. You found a lot of good looks for her.
Model looks lovely and balanced in her proportions in the altered wardrobe. Thanks for panning out, split views, and profiles - really brings message forth.
I hope Bianca is in more videos! This was really enjoyable ☺️ Next time can we get how to dress shorter and bigger girls in two pieces/layers? My job doesn't really lend itself to skirt/dress wear.
I have a hard time buying new clothes because I went from small to large in a year because of a thyroid problem. I have to accept my new figure and this video was so so helpful!!
OMGoooooosh...I love you! The minute I ask you to dress petite & CHUBBY it shows up in my feed. You're the only style channel for me! Now can you do MATURE petite and chubby? LOL. I need this. I'm cruising in a few months!
This is the most helpful video I’ve ever seen when it comes to dressing a shorter/curvier figure, and why those decision are made 👌 More of this content, please!
Thank you for making a video for short chubby figures. Everything is geared to tall and thin. I am glad I stumbled upon this video even though it was a year old. Since i have trouble losing weight at least i can dress thinner!
Great video, thanks! And I always liked "rubenesque" and "fluffy" over "chubby." And ladies, your beauty and value is deep within you, not the surface level nonsense (which will end up in the grave someday anyway), so be confident because you are amazing because you are you! ❤️
I love that you made this video. Very body positive and also very helpful should someone wish to elongate. This young women looks fantastic in all the outfits. Great tips. Love your channel.
That jumpsuit looks so good on Bianca! 🤩 And yes, I also used to fall into the “high neckline / turtle neckline will cover my large chest” trap 😑 Now, I wear mostly Vneck or a lower round neckline and it is so much more flattering without making my chest look even bigger ☺️
Wowww such a great video....am 5'3 n 75kgs chubby gal 🥺 chi i just can't describe how greatful i am for u for making such a video which actually portrays a "chubby lady". U explained each n everything..it's gonna be very helpful for chubby gals like me ❤️..luv luv luv luv from India ❤️
Terrific! My weight is up right now, so I am extra-grateful for these tips (which actually can benefit slimmer women as well.) lovely model, too. Thanks to you both.
Incredibly helpful. I have this body type too, watching a real person makes it so much clear to why something was not working for me. Thank you Bianca❤
This video is so helpful!! I’m a midsize woman who’s 5’1-5’2 & with an hourglass shape …. And I’m always struggling to find clothes that fit me. This is so so helpful !! Thank you for this !!! 😊
I’m 110 lbs and low rise anything makes me look like my legs are 6 inches long 😅. This is helpful advice for anyone on the petite side! Also - your model is adorable!!!!
Hello! I can relate to this body image for sure. Simple changes make such a difference!! I do enjoy your videos and you look amazing. I hope you will offer more videos for us size large, petite gals. 😊
I love this model and your positivity and inclusivity of plus size women who are under 5'4" and so I went to your website. I was shocked that when I searched for clothing by size, the largest size available was XL and their were only 14 items ( including coats) that were available in XL. How is this inclusive of curvy women?!
Great video. Glad to see you back with more content. May I suggest you add other videos addressing various body types for short, chunky women? Just because one carries a little or a lot of extra weight, does not mean we are all the same body type.
Jeans for short waisted/long legs 5'3" "apple"......Mid height sits AT my waist, regular would be under my boobs. When I was young "low Rise" sat above my hips and just below my waist, I loved them:)
Another great video! I am challenging myself to try and embrace my kibbe style. At 5'1" tall, everything points to me being a "gamine". But, this style is all about short, staccato, and lots of horizontal lines. With your advice I think I can creatively embrace the spirit, while dressing for my curvier petite shape for the best results!
Greetings from Central America! This video was so inspiring. Thank you for representing all body types and helping all women to feel confident in their clothes with silhouettes that compliment them. I really enjoy this channel. 🌷✨
I wish some of the after shots were in flats. It’s hard to tell if it’s the dress or her posture making her look slimmer and taller. Personally I would rather look short and chubby than have to wear heels 😂. I do think all your choices look lovely, except the jeans I prefer the boyfriend ones 😅
So much good information I had to write it down in my phone. Now I can review it whenever I go shopping! Thank you so much for the representation of short + chubby women.
I've found shopping online all bigger girls , the models on the sites are all tall!! No curvy girl models are short and so most clothes I see on plus sized models would look horrible on me as a short woman. Thanks so so much for this!!
Chi, you look so pretty! Your hair is so long and I love rhe highlights. Thank you for all your great tips! Please keep ‘em coming. Much love from SoCal ❤
This was great ! I am 5’1” and 49… I’ve found my waist shape has changed and my bust height dropped, while my buttocks have developed a shelf … I’ve lost confidence and have been wearing slouchy clothes … loosing more confidence… also struggling to wear anything but flats 🥿 due to leg pain… I was looking for a you tube presentation just like this. This covered a lot of my questions.!
I was attracted to this video because it used the word "chubby" in the title. That signalled, to me, that this would be a practical video and it would be keeping it real for women like me. I used to have an hour glass figure, before I went through the menopause during lockdown. Now my very defined waist has gone and an apron stomach has taken its place. My curves have all joined up and morphed into one big blob! I felt that I should just cover up and forget about wearing feminine clothes, so this was really helpful. Thank you.
Thank you Chi, this is so useful and stopped me from buying yet another shapeless oversized sweater - they are so unflattering on me, but it's easier to stay in my comfort zone. I need to accentuate my body more!
I love the blue dress that Bianca is wearing..Your theme is "How to dress a short and chubby figure," but your clothing line does not include plus sizes.
I love that you made this video for us petite plus size women, but your sizes don't go over XL or size 14 in jeans on your clothing site. Right now I am a size 18 and I am 5'3. I have other friends that are short and are in size 20 to size 24. I hope you can expand to real plus women, cause the clothes on your site are adorable and I was looking forward to finding some new outfits for the summer. But seriously, I appreciate the video on what I should look for and how I should wear the clothing. I would love to be a future customer of yours though.
Oh my goodness. This is the first time I’ve seen you. I’m so excited. My height is 4’11” and weight 127. I’m so excited to see all of your videos. One big problem I have, double mastectomy with no reconstruction. So I’m flat chested and comfortable with it. If I have to I can add a bra with prosthetic but I’m fine with nothing. ❤
