@@Jorminton Yes that’s the reason I actually stopped drifting on gta there’s no problem it’s fun I just kinda wish it was more of a “legitimate” way like without stancing
@@brandonwatkins502 no but he means how does he stance the car with bullet broof tires: the answer is you can't. I have a banshee 900r with bullet proof tires, I was gonna sell it and do the upgrades again but it handles good enough I'd say
@@calmthestorm2400 turn at the beginning of the corner, let go of steering and slam on gas. If you lose the turn, just wiggle the steering back and forth, you regain traction immediately and can straighten to ride the corner out. Don't do what this says because he doesn't know how to drift
You don’t have to wait; go in director mode and to go there, if you have a PS4 press the pad button then a little menu on the top left will appear, then go down to where it says “‘Director Mode”’ then you have customize tons of cool cheats like invincibility and no wanted status, and play as tons of characters it’s fun
I started drifting in GTA 2 years ago and got pretty good at it. About a year ago I got into the drifting community and it's crazy how fun it actually is. There are drift meets, competitions, crews and just chill lobbies in general. Great to see you getting involved into this part of the GTA community Hella!

Great video man. One thing I'd like to add is a different method for high speed drifting. Instead of holding the handbrake, you initiate the drift by feinting into the corner or doing a scandinavian flick. In this case, the handbrake can still be used, but it's more for adjusting angle and modulating the speed a bit. With this method, you can be reaaally aggressive with your entries and once you get used to it, you can start learning reverse entries. Not having to hold the handbrake means you initiate the drift at much higher speeds--go full send and really whip out the car's rear end. It takes some getting used to; spinning out can happen very often especially when initiating and holding. But as with what hella mentioned, practice is key. Eventually you'll get a "sixth sense" for when you're about to spin out milliseconds before it happens lol. It can be that you're going too fast or there's too much angle. By then you can just control the throttle and steering to keep the line going.

@@mistercro7643 yup that’s the point it’s a really good drifter. Muscle cars have great torque. Plus it’s on sale. People listening to Tylarious I would say take advantage of this sale. I bought the ruiner not on sale cause I liked the looks of the car but beware the car with scratch costs you like 7k each time rather then a normal 300 dollars for a car that’s broken from scratches. It’s expensive to have that car lol.
i drift based on the traction if the car doesnt have good traction i just turn it hard without using the brake and use good or decant traction based on the traction or turning level
Wouldn't it be better to do figure 8's, safter learning how to drift in circles. So you can get a feel of how the cars weight shifts as the car transitions from one corner into the next corner or ( turn). It helps a lot when learning how to drift
Practicing big donuts at the airport was very bad, but when I went to the locations I started improving from there, I think it was because I needed a reference (this is just for me, but maybe there is someone who has the same problem). I hope this helps someone to improve 😊
Me lowering my car for the first time: gets four rounds into the first "side tire" and at the fifth my car blows up and I get wasted... Thanks soo much I learnt alot
get a low grip tire i think you can only do it with cars that came in the Tuners update i used Annis Remus to put low grip tires, oh AND you need to go to LS Car Meet to put the low grip tires
my honest opinion is not to lower your car. it may help at first but when you want to go faster and have more control having more grip and weight transfer will be an advantage. it's all preference at the end of the day.
when you feel like you are about to oversteer counter steer as much as you can it tends to fix it BTW I do drift but not a lot this was just from my experience as you drift by moving the wheels and then you can easily make it go into a bigger drift so it's a little tip to everyone
Different mods on the car effect how the car can drift, I’ve experimented with diffident builds for my banshee and it really changes. So if you keep oversteering trying changing your build since he didn’t really go into that besides the wheels.
@@FreakCOD2 On my Banshee I use: No Armour, Stock Brakes, Stock Bumpers, EMS Upgrade, Level 4, Stock Exhaust, NO EXPLOSIVES, Stock Hood, Stock Horn, Stock Lights, Stock Roof, No Spolier, Lowered Suspension, Race Transmission, Turbo Tuning, SUV, Chrome Rims, Dash VIP, Stock Tires, White Tire Smoke. Of course that’s just my preferred setup and I am not recommending it but if you would like to try it go ahead.
double clutch also known as brake boost because you're using the brake to disengage the in game clutch system for it to be in neutral yet as soon as you accelerate the game hooks on with the nearest lowest gear giving you higher acceleration. Basically if you're in 5th you do the break boost which will go into neutral then quickly switch to 4th then 5th when (this happens automatically in game) which gives you that extra push Edit: I know he says not to do it in the higher gear but I knew this trick before coming here from the speed runner DarkViperAU who uses this trick constantly for simple "Brake Boost"
i didnt even know that you could drift or double clutch in gta 5 i just thought of looking it up im going to reinstall gta5 back onto my system and try this out myself. also you are very good at drifting.
That's a pretty good tutorial! But maybe try and don't use "double clutching" when talking about drifting in GTA 5. A very appropriate term would be "clutch kicking" which is basically what's happening here. Double clutching is a technique mainly used in large trucks and other specialty vehicles to reduce the wear on the synchros when downshifting. Mainly for vehicles with a unsynchronized manual transmission. Clutch kicking on the other hand is actually a technique used in drifting. You're in 2nd gear, press down the clutch, rev the engine to like 3,5-5k rpm and then let go (dump) the clutch in an instant, sending a sudden wave of power to the back wheels, causing them to spin out and send the car sideways. Just a little thing bothering me in these drift videos! ^^ But otherwise a sweet tutorial. One thing you could add tho, is that clutch kicking works best in second gear when you're close to shifting into third. :)
