What about non drinkers? From a behaviorist point of view, mixing intimacy with alcohol is risky because the emotions are multiplied and it would be difficult to move out of a carrousel of drinking. How do you start speaking about future family without alcohol?
I don't necessarily understand the question. All of mine adult decisions about the family were made on a sober mind. I do agree that alcohol unleashes the suppressed emotions (breaks that made up social barrier of what is permitted to talk and what's not), that's why I was withholding myself personally from consuming alcoholic beverages, because I knew I had some trauma, that wouldn't be very pleasant to deal with on the drunk mind.
@@ZaharPanda Beautiful answer. Keep on the right track. Alcohol mixed with intimacy not only introduce themes that shouldn't be spoken. It increases to extraordinary levels the emotions feedback of intimacy. As result the individual keeps on the track of searching the extraordinary feedback via the use of alcohol which reduces his decision making to barbarian levels. The path of recovering mental health then, is when the individual searches again for intimacy without the inclusion of alcohol which concludes in family building.
