Few things demand so much coordination and nerves of steel than ACTUALLY driving a dirt car, been in this for more that a decade.. love it, but local tracks need to focus on keeping the cost down, not rewarding the cars who spend the most $$$ , or no one can afford to go racing but the wealthy...just saying. If your track has a claim rule, start claiming. It will end high dollar motors at your track. It won't make you any friends, but who wants yuppies at a dirt track anyway?
I am guessing that was hot laps on a muddy wet track. Also your steering wheel looks bent. May be my head is bent from hitting the wall all them years ago.
It look like here is some play in the wheel, like it might not be sitting squarely on the shaft. At the beginning of the video you can see it moving some before he takes off
