Great lesson, thank you. I noticed that some of that riff is what SRV uses in his song Pride and Joy.

Thank you for these lessons. I’m a beginner and having a lot of fun with these. Are you using a pick? It doesn’t look like it when you’re strumming, but it sounds like it on the lead notes. I’m really having trouble strumming up strokes with the pick; I do much better strumming with my thumb and fingers. But then my lead notes sound dead when I use my thumb and no pick. Any tips?
