In case you want to ride your ATV and the battery is either dead completely or just dropped charge enough not to be able to start there is an easy way to jump the battery on this 2018 Polaris 570 Sportsmen.
I have this same 2018 sportsman only it's green and it does not have a connector under the hood to the battery. It's all smooth plastic in there. Mine's out of juice, it's been on a trickle but their batteries totally suck....here we go again. Oh by the way, I did hardwire a charging port for my trickle charger up to the left handle bar which is fine but that port under the hood would have been so much better. Time to wiggle and jiggle another Polaris battery out. I'm putting a NAPA replacement in with higher cca. damn. Why they didn't put them under the seat or do what they did with the 2021's and put a hefty battery right under the hood, I'll never know. This is a PITA.
