Wow man looks great! Like that smile on your face when you started up that bad boy! I recently got a 2020 Sierra 2500 hd base model. So now I can be pretty sure it's gonna need all the wiring as well for me to add fog lights to my $50k truck that should already be on it from factory. Great video. Beautiful truck love the red recovery hooks!

Looks NICE!! I should've went with the GEN5diy first, the OEM harness sucks trying to install. So I just tied everything up and out of the way and now I'm waiting on my GEN5 harness.

When you remote start your truck do the fog lights come on with the marker lights. I just installed the same harness but went with the diode dynamics fog light kit.

Do you have part number for the fog lights and wiring harness? I have a 2020 also with no fog lights ugh. 49k for a truck and no fog lights. Crazy right??

@@bryanscarborough4902 I can't remember the info for the fog lights but if you go to www.gen5diy.com type in your information for a fog light wiring harness it will give you some choices. Be sure to read the description of each one.

How did you get the plug out of the headlight assembly? I’m having trouble.

Once you push the button back use a flat head screw driver from the top to hold it down while you pull it out.

I tried for close to 30 minutes last night on my 2021, no luck. Wish it was easier. Going give it another try her in a few.

Yeah it’s tricky but if you go from the top put you left arm through the small opening to reach the button to push the button back then utilize the flat head screw driver to finish holding it down and out while you pull with your left arm

@@2LOOKER yeah the harness is a little different for the 2021 and plus it’s new plastic so it’s a real brick to get out!

Any issues whit the brakes or transmission I got two taking the damn trucks already to Autonation multiple times one is a v8 the other one 4 whit the turbo

No sir I haven’t had that issue with mine but there was a recall on the 2019 and early 2020 models dealing with brake issues.
