It will be beautiful to have pebbles in your front garden .. It improves the appearance of your house and even increase value of your home. But it will cost you a lot if you use a landscaper for this...
So how can we pebble the yard without much skills... I am sharing the step by step video which will help you do it easily... Only cost involved is the actual pebbles...
I bought pebbles for $20 per bag from a landscaper which is 20kg... Any questions you can comment and I will reply.. happy pebbling...
Some FAQ I have received answered below
1. How many bags of pebbles you have used and what is the total landscaped area
I have used 15 x 20kg bags of pebbles . Costed me $300. Another 3-5 bags would be nice but can fill at a later stage.
Total area is 5.6m2
2.Where did you buy Pebbles, weed mat (The black sheet) and Tiles
I have bought pebbles and Tiles from Landscape Supplies. Weed mat I have bought from Bunnings warehouse. Better to buy thick mat not the net type.

Thank you for the information. Can you suggest which weed sheet to buy ? Is it better to get from local store or amazon ? Thanks ! Also did the square stone move from its initial placement area , say due to rain water or other environmental conditions?

Hi Anita, I have bought the weed sheet from bunnings.. There are couple of variety's bit buy the best one which is a thick sheet not like net.. Unfortunately I am unable to post a photo here... Re: square stone... No never .. it's not at all moved, it's a little heavy.. So I don't think you have to worry about.. Most important thing about the video.. Don't put sand as shown in the video.. It has changed colour of the pebbles, I had to remove it

Hi try to make over my garden with pebbles and outdoor tiles. My under weedmat red soil, which got mud once, rained. Can I top up with sand before cover with weedmat or after weedmat?

I don't clearly understand your question... But never put sand above weedmat... Only pebbles over the weedmat

Correct, over time that pebbles will buried under the sand, You should put a barrier between sand and the barrier.

Usual wear and tear.. Mostly due to dust.. Otherwise it will stay as it is.. The pebbles won't go green for sure.. I thought of putting a current photo after 8 months ... But youtube doesn't allow... Important... Don't put sand as in the video which I mentioned in the title... Rocks change to sand colour if you do

Please Subscribe my channel... The total area is 5.6m2... And I have used 15 ×$20 bags of pebbles ...That would be just enough... Another 3- 5 bags can be added later if you feel like it's not enough

My apologies for the late reply.. Was on a holiday... Why not... In that scenario, you don't even need to put a weed mat... I never put one in similar condition, but I can't find any issues...

Can I ask please, why you didn't show the sand being put down. The title of your video was (better not put sand under pebbles ) But sand was under the pebbles. I was just going to use the weed mat, then pebbles or stones. Would that be ok too ? Thank you

Please have at the FAQ in description prior you are doing .. As mentioned in the title, NEVER PUT SAND UNDER PEBBLES. That was a mistake and later I had to correct it

Thanks for watching the video and please Subscribe... Tiles and Pots I have bought from local Landscaping supplies and Pot shop respectively ... The size varies to the size of the landscaping area.. Only thing you have to make sure is Tiles should be a little bigger than Pot Base ..

May be the weed mat is not of a good quality thick one... But remember, weeds will come through it after some time.. I use some weed killing spray one time in an year to keep it tidy... Make sure you pay attention so that the weed killer will not be sprayed on actual plants ..

The white stone's colour changed to muddy where it was soaked in sand. Also, we could see the sand in between the stones, which didn't look nice.

Sorry Bay... This was made in Australia... So you may have to find them.. If you are planning to do it, please don't put sand as shown in the video.. It made some issues for me later

You have to put thick plastic sheet or weed mat... else plants will pop up... No other issues..Just don't use sand which may spoil the colour of the pebbles.. My front yard still looks beautiful..😍😍
