Thank you for the clear instructions. I was able to get my battery out. Thank again for the clear instructions and no other extra verbiage. Straight and to the point.
Love that you kept it fast and simple. However, I hope that wasn't your real car (junk yard demo?), because I've seen better underhood areas in 20-year-old cars!!!
Thank you so much! Glad to hear that you found the video helpful! No this wasn't my real car. This was a car for sale at the dealership before we detailed it and cleaned it inside and out before posting it for sale.
Son changed his battery on his 2016 Forte and as soon as he connected the Negative terminal the alarm turned on… he had to disconnect the negative to turn the horn off. Any ideas??
Press unlock on the key remote. And that should take care of it. As soon as you connect the battery and the alarm turns on, press unlock on the key remote.
@@VirarAutomotive our son lives in NC and us in Maine…trying to troubleshoot from a distance was TOUGH!! 😂 Found your video hoping to find something he may have missed. Turns out the solution was as simple as pushing a button… 🤦♂️ Sub’d you for future (potential) help. 😉
