How to easily transfer an image for printmaking: Linocut or Woodblock

Here I will show you how to make a transfer sheet or Hanshita. You can run this through your printer and glue it down for woodcut or linocut. You will need gampi paper, printer paper, spray adhesive, Nori Paste, a baren, a utility knife, and a ruler for this method.

Mostly American cherry, sometimes Shina plywood, and mountain cherry from Japan.

I've seen people glue down regular printing paper and slowly peel the paper fibers from the block after the glue has dried. You can also trace your design and transfer the lines with graphite paper. They also sell inkjet transfer sheets from Mcclains in the states.
