I order the gampi from Mokuhankan.com in Japan. I glue the gampi to a thicker computer printing paper with an adjustable spray adhesive. I buy American cherry from a local lumber yard here in NYC. I laminate the cherry to 1/2 inch birch plywood. You can get Japanese cherry from woodlikematsumura.com
