Feet dragging is honestly super helpful, ive been trying to wheelie for years, never did the foot drag. 2 months ago i said eff it and practiced foot drags. Its controlled, gets you used to the feeling, and it teaches you muscle memory for the throttle and brake, 2 weeks of foot dragging and i was finally able to do full blown wheelies, now its like nothing!
That's awesome! I've been learning it on my electric mountain bike and I'm getting pretty good there. This is going to be fun on my Eride pro SS because you have a throttle to help keep you in the balance point. One thing that helped me on my mountain bike was to never looked down or at your front wheel and always look out at the horizon.
Oh nice!! Yea you’ll be at balance point fast now that you have the throttle! And yep I always look down the road and not down at the wheel. Keep me posted on your progress!
Right on man! They are a blast. If you get one hit up Shockbikes.com and tell em Corey sent you. I'll have to make my way out to your range for a surron range day video hahaha.
I can wheelie my supermoto and sportbike with footbrake. Handbrake is totally new to me. I have the Hope brakes and they are so touchy lol. The side to side balance is a lot harder on these also.
Hahaha so me and you come from the same struggles. I also learned on a supermoto and mt-07 and when I got on the surron I struggled lol. At first the handbrake is mega touchy but just like the foot brake the more you do it the easier it will be to dial in. As for left and right balance the dirt tires are TERRRRRRIBleE. I’d go with some street tires if possible
It has a 60v 40ah battery which is a great battery for sure. And the suspension is way beefier than the stock Surron stuff. I think it's a greaty purchase for the price bro! Obviously keep in mind the surrons have an unlimited amount of aftermarket parts lol.
Okay so once you start going then being able to touch the ground no longer is an issue. If you are barely able to touch the pegs that would be a problem. But if you are able to sit down and reach the pegs then just give it throttle and lean back
Dude I know the struggle on my lightbee I have the old version that has a 32ah battery and you have to butt pull and just throw your body weight at it if you're going faster than 10
Quick quesiton, im getting the wheelies down but my only issue is sometimes when im popping i get into a lean and then i end up turning? anyway to stop leaning?
All stays true. I can wheelie anything including big gas bikes and all the rules stay the same. Only difference on mx500 is you want have to be as far back for balance point
I have it at 0% I do typically like the feel of engine brake because I come from street bikes and stuff. But on the surrons I turn it off since it's a strange feel.
nope it was bone stock and has a doookie battery lol. It's about 30% slower than a newer surron. I did add a controller a couple months ago and it has helped with smoothness but no power gains.
The hardest part for me is the brake control. I can hold the wheelie and drop back, but I can’t get the brake control so it just ends of being a power wheelie.
