have a very specific question, I converted all pdfs and epug files to mobi, so that I can read them on my kindle using Calibre. But no images were kept inside the pages of the books.. is there a solution to this?

I followed your instruction but after uploading to Calibre the PDF book was just a jumble of words so the conversion to E-book was the same. Any thoughts please?

PDF is a format that's not meant for ebook, so the best course of action would be to get the MOBI or EPUB format directly from a reliable source or to get a tablet to read PDFs comfortably

One way is to email the converted file to your kindle email. Goto Amazon/Account/Devices/Choose the device to view details including the email.

can be added to your Kindle through a direct file transfer, by connecting it to your computer via a USB cable. Drag the relevant file into Kindle > Documents and it should appear in your library. If you don't have a USB cable, the best way to send a file to your Kindle is via email.
