I have been taking care of my crazy long hair for so many years now, and I have never been told, or never thought about how leaving the iron in one place for too long would be frying it. Thank you for using that analogy with iron and clothing! That really helped put some things into perspective for me about why my hair is braking off so much. I cant believe no one has ever told me to keep the iron moving! 💖

You can also do this with a thin straightener. Just twist the mids and run your fingers through it to keep the curl from being too tight. Way faster and less tricky technique. Finish it off with a texturing spray and boom.

Just curious, is your hair fairly thick or lean more towards baby fine? Just curious because I know that those factors play a role also. Mine is baby fine, oily at roots & gets dry on the ends so I was thinking this may be something I would like to try. The last time it turned off like that was in my last hair styling video from last March! I honestly have no idea why it stopped lol Reuben told me it could be because it wasn’t plugged into a GFCI outlet (the ones that are near water sources that have the reset buttons on them)

In hs in the 70s when straight hair was in mine was super curly before flat irons. Now I'm 60 and beautiful silver but changed and is straight basically and I use something to try this it goes straight lol.

Ya definitely! I don’t like curling my hair directly with a flat iron cuz I’m just better with a curling iron, but if that’s how you prefer to do it you can definitely use that!!

You curl then uncurl?! Just twist your hair in a scrunchie overnight, steam it while taking your morning shower. Let it dry. Take it out, add a little hair spray at the roots. You're done. ✌🏻and ❤️

Really like the tutorial- this might sound blunt but please make sure your thyroid levels are checked because your neck has a bulging in it to me that looks like a swollen thyroid
