I'm a cottage cheese fan to! It's a slow digestion protein to so I always eat it before bed. Jasmine is the only rice I eat. I worked with a client of compton and he had jasmine rice and cream of rice in the diet that's y I tried it!

Remember avocados for fat. Also, avoid microwaving your food, it kills the enzymes.
@leggoego
@leggoego 10 лет назад
Not hating, just trying to spread some knowledge, Your statement is completely backwards sir. Microwaving food is one of the best ways to retain nutritional value www.cnn.com/2014/01/21/health/upwave-microwaving-food/ It just depends on whether or not you do it right.

+Brandon Lilly so starting off just eat? don't worry about protein because I'm 240 6'1 and want to be jacked fat at about 300 I don't care about abs
@andrewsmd87
@andrewsmd87 10 лет назад
Brandon, just curious if you've ever tried dropping the fats down a touch and adding in more carbs? Like say 125g of fats and bumping your carbs up to make up the cals? Might be tough to hit 300g of pro and keep fats at anything below 150g, but I was just curious.

Wow, amazing the difference in people's metabolisms. If I ate 300 protein and 150 fat I'd honestly vanish and I'm only 220lbs

Wtf. Is it hard to be a competitive 220/198er @ 6'?
@skatesquam
@skatesquam 10 лет назад
the idea is if you weigh more you have more force to push with.
@Cctmadden
@Cctmadden 10 лет назад
Right, but a 500 wilks at 12-15%~ just seems healthier than a 500 wilks at 25+%
@living4adrenaline
@living4adrenaline 10 лет назад
Cctmadden The lower your bodyfat is, the stronger you will be pound for pound (within reason).
@skatesquam
@skatesquam 10 лет назад
WesCC1989 i understand what you're saying. but lean bodybuilders are quit weak compared to say an olympic lifter. alot of olympic lifters look like normal people. Strenght is very CNS oriented. Its a mix of both i think.
@Cctmadden
@Cctmadden 10 лет назад
Yes of course a lean bodybuilder (sub 7%) is weaker. 12-15 isn't lean enough to compromise strength like sub 8 is, but it's lean enough to not be a fat powerlifter. I'd rather squat 600 @ 220 than 700 @ 275.

Really good information! Impressed to see an athlete that knows his shit, most are on these brosef ideas.IMO I think you're off on the animal fats, saturated fat is not healthy and has been shown to increase your chances for all kinds of heart related problems. Better off sticking to unsaturated varieties, nuts,seeds, mostly all non animal source fats are good. Otherwise great video, just subscribed.
@jeddharrispersonaltraining9787
Saturated fats are directly related to hormones in males and females, definitely shouldn't be neglected my friend. He knows his stuff hey.
@mrjdizzleizzle

Shit late reply but you need to research saturated fat. You are so far from the truth

im assuming youre a high schooler which as he said youre going to have a crazy ass metabolism which allows you to do that. once you hit age 20-25 your metabolism will start slowing down and you wont need as much
@Transfiqure
@Transfiqure 10 лет назад
Christopher Nicolai almost 20 but basically the same thing. thats crazy though, figured he'd be eating 5000+ a day.
@christophernicolai1517
@christophernicolai1517 10 лет назад
well hes 31 or 32 so his metabolism is gonna be way slower than ours(im also turning 20 soon). the only thing that surprised me was he eats less on his off days. i figured hed just be in the 3800-4000 range everyday
