Naa man, if the soup isn't boiling hot, it doesn't taste nearly as good anymore. Gotta do it Dan's way, so the soup stays hot and nice. Mike's way is not bad, but the soup get's cold if he does that. AND NEVER MIX THE VINIGAR WITH THE SOUP!

+Squish Glad to see someone actually talking sense about how to eat xiaolongbao! Of course you eat it whole and let the soup burst in your mouth. Everybody I know eats them whole. That's how it was packaged and so that's how it should be eaten dammit! Besides, dipping in vinegar will lower the temperature just right without getting cold.

You eat the soup dumplings without drinking the soul first, man youre going to burn your tongue and mouth, unless of course you dont eat the dumplings until its cold or warm, just saying they taste best when hot

Never had soup dumplings before (you can't get them where I live, maybe only in some fancy expensive restaurants, idk), and I thought that's how it's done when I first heard about dumplings filled with soup. :) I imagine it to be a glorious mouth experience when biting the dumpling and the delicious soup comes out. Didn't think about it being freakishly hot though, lol. Guess when you wait till the soups cooled to an eatable temperature the skin's already cold? Bummer.

+Jadisonica Me 2 though for different reasons, I can't get to places that serve these foods so I'm hoping to make some of them myself but for the most part I just enjoy watching him eat the foods, makes what I'm eating taste so much better. Gluten also isn't that great for me as if I have to much it tends to effect my breathing but yeah I often eat it anyway just rarely pure white bread or white flour dough. I find the older grains like spelt or rye seem to be fine for me, so can substitute in my own cooking, wholemeal also helps.

MaZEEZaM I think what he is eating makes what I eat seem more tasty also, lols. What I really want to try to the soup dumplings. They seem to be the most "yummy" looking type of Asian food he has eaten.
