Thank you for addressing this ignored issue of how to edit CF designs. There is no point in buying designs if you cannot fully edit them. Please continue to explore this topic. For example, erasing words within a design that's on colored background....like words on a flag. I enjoy your teaching style. Thank you.

Wowza. I've been using Canva for a long time & love it. The hint about the 'erase' tool - AWESOME!!! I've removed background before but had never realized there was the erase feature. The hint on 't' for the text - also, wonderful!! Thank you.

Cassiy, I hope you'll see this comment. First thank you for all your help, you've really made me feel I can do this. It seems like the format of Canva has changed since you made this video and I'm having the hardest time uploading a font from OTF to Canva. I keep getting an error. Neither Creative Fabrica or Canva were able to assist. I'm still currently in my free trail period for Canva so not sure if that has something to do with it. Might you know what I'm doing wrong here?
Maybe try a different font just in case something is wrong with that one. Also you have to specifically go to the fonts and click "upload a font" you can't just upload it in the normal graphics area.

Dear Cassiy, You always teaching that the designs MUST be cute and unique so we stand out. Otherwise will not sell. So this is a perfect example how to make it different. (Brilliant) Thank You As far as driving your own traffic to Etsy in the begging when no Etsy adds used yet, What would you recommend : Email list service Pinterest Other Social Media ? Other words what did you use to promote them before you paid for your Etsy adds? Thank You!
This is so much easier than using Cricut. I get really frustrated trying to edit C.F. designs in Cricut b/c you have to use the contour button and it’s fine but I like this way better.
Omg wtf how did I not know about this!!!!! I have used photopea to erase stuff I don't like in a design, but it's clunky to use. Great for adding distressed texture but this Canva feature is awesome, thanks for sharing!
Hi Cassiy. Thank you for all your videos. They've been very helpful. Q on CF designs... Is there a way, to change the colors on the design itself? Like in your example, the words were 'have a cup of cheer' - is there a way to use that text and change the color of those letters? [using Canva] Thank you for your assistance.
No there is not a great way to change parts of the color on a design within Canva. I'd recommend looking up tutorials on Photopea, it is a design software similar to photoshop where you can do more advanced things like that!
