One of my favorite's on this site. I really appreciate the presets and PDF with instructions. You clearly put time and thought into all parts of your guides/tutorials and I look forward to more from ya!
This was awesome, thank you!! I needed these EXACT tips (except rendering out of AE). If rendering out of AE I found that rendering a high quality prores version, then using these same techniques on that render in Media Encoder does more or less the same thing (for my purposes, at least). You're the best, Matt!
Thank you! Ive been meaning to do more tests with export settings for Twitter as I've never been too impressed with how compressed my video looked on Twitter! Downloaded!
Yeah I'd kill for a video by someone who's experimented to find how to avoid over-compression. I see lots of videos on Twitter than are somehow high quality - how da heck are they doing it? :X
I appreciate this video A LOT ! Btw do you happen to know anybody who do this same exact thing but for Davinci resolve ? Iknow it’s probably the same steps but buttons are places differently thanks 🙏
I like this video However, my video size is now 400+mb. can you share a video where we can minimize the size but not loose quality. i have slow uploading speed. downloading is fine. i think less uploading is in my internet package.
These presets only make sense if you have a DSLR. For videos sources that are not like that, or that is not 1080p, this is not recommended. You should mention these things to people :)
This is not good advice. Twitter compresses video before it’s uploaded and on its servers for distribution for varying connection qualities just like RU-vid. Making the file larger does not make the quality 5x larger does nothing. Not only does Twitter serve video content in 720p the vast majority of time, the average bit rate it is compressed down to is in the 2-3 mbps range, so assuming you are upload above that rate in 1080 you are maximizing quality already as the premiere preset does.
I got a question, what happens if i record my video in 2k 60 fps does it still limit me to 1920x1080 when i try to upload to twitter? like nobody could tell its recorded in 2k at all right?
funny thing about all this tutorials is that nobody shows how Twitter destroys the videos, no matter what. So, what ever U do, is the same result. Not saying this to be mean, only to save people`s time. If not, show me the money: show an actual bitrate that works :-)
I tried everything you said. I have no idea why but twitter wont upload my video :/ only if i upload it with a low bitrate but then it looks really bad.

Sorrie to say but CBR isn't good for quality, VBR2 stays the best. Look at the pudgetsystem test, google : Video-H-264-Hardware-Acceleration-in-Adobe-Media-Encoder---Good-or-Bad-121
