And sitting on some ladder framing, that way the sheetrocker says not my job and sheetrocks it in the wall cavity for it to be discovered decades later. Bonus points if you pee in it.
@@refri17ner95 If only it was a joke. Can't tell you how many times I've seen water bottles stuffed behind a wall intersection half full of piss. Insulators don't touch it and surely the sheetrockers don't either.
My journeyman told me I wasnt an electrician a couple years ago when I told someone I was an electrician.. i never forgot that. I left demoed cable on the floor today.. does that mean I am an electrician now? 🥹
Worked with a guy that would take every little bit of copper the electricians would leave scatter on the floor, he would take it home with him in his lunch cooler. I go to his house many years later for a BBQ and he says " Wanna see something cool?" He lifts the lid of a deep freezer in his garage and says "Every day I come home from work I dump my copper in here, when it's full and copper is real high I'm gonna scrap it!" It was about 1/2 full at the time and that's A LOT.
@@cranberriesdoodle1450 im an industrial electrician and what ive bought home in copper over the years would melt your face. we might leave some but its only scraps for the seagulls.
I had a foreman who constantly nags about house keeping… at the same time he takes you out from a task to do something else more pressing then yells at you for leaving your work area dirty… its also the same foreman who is 40 yesrs old and claims to have 35 years of experience and makes the most mistake in a project
@@mattplasse1984yeah I understand where your coming from but usually the fore man at least on our crew he usually just bosses you around and watches you work and tells you to move shit clean shit up while he just sits there and doesn’t bother cleaning any of his scrap cut offs or anything if he’s even working
As an hvac tech having to frequently work in attics & crawls, him yeeting the wire any which way is 100% accurate. Thanks for all the tripping hazards, sparkies
I worked with an electrician he would take 1 hour a day to take the scraps and collect them at the end of the month we would go to the scrap yard and that was our bonus for the month
@@NickNakelskiNow dont go and do the crackhead thing and steal wire from job sites. That's the crackhead thing. Don't do that. It's what crackheads do.
The pipes laying right in the way is annoying but the way electricians will have a clean job site looking like it got hit by a tornado and the just leave is infuriating. Doesn't happen on the sites i work on anymore the big boss finally laid down the law. We have a crew of electricians we use now that are great all of them but before we started using them omfg dude. Almost punched one in the mouth one day because he was throwing a fit, like a full blown little tantrum because the sawzall was too loud im not even kidding. Its crazy to me that it's universal, they are almost all awfull doesn't matter where you are or who you ask lol
I don't know what cracker jack companies you're working with but being neat and clean is hallmark of a good electrician. Clean working space, clean wires, clean conduit. Even when I worked rezzy we cleaned up every bit of trash. Clean as you go and it'll make your work easier and you won't have a bunch for the end.
Nah man that’s on the architects and designers they always add shit later and we are always boys with the drywall guys like sorry brother we’re making another hole 😂😂
The use of the lineman's as a hammer was a nice touch. A true electrician if I have ever seen one. Only problem is it looks like you organized your trash in one location and didn't scatter it amount the rooms. How's the GC suppose to know what you worked on that day?
😂😂😂. I’ve been in and around the trades since I was about 8, I somehow made it to 48. There are hacks in all trades & there are professionals, just be respectful! Stay safe everyone.
Lol, before I got my current job in 2021, I started out as a plumbing apprentice. My first place was a new Tommy's car wash, electricians always left their shit everywhere lol
