Great tutorial! Thank you, Jeannette. I found it very helpful watching how you approached each tonal layer while explaining your process. I initially thought you had used black paper for the second drawing, and when I saw you added the deep tones of the background (and within the raven, of course) that in itself was such an 'aha' moment. Just discovered your channel and loving it. Of course, I subscribed 🙂 One question, you had the colour and pressure in the top left corner, but I'm not sure what the numbers meant and if you ever go beyond 2. You also had a letter 'B' at one point and unsure what that meant as well. If you have another tutorial that talks about all this, could you point me to it? Thank you! Delighted to have discovered you and your work!
Hi and thanks for the comment. As for pressure, I have a video here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qyiLzLFrWLU.html that does show a pressure list. Basically it’s 1-4 1 is a whisper, 2 writing pressure, 3 heavier and 4 lots of pressure. Yes I do go beyond 2, but in this drawing because I used a blending marker it didn’t have to. The B stands for blending - pencil, marker or solvent. You can also download the pressure guide I have at this link on my website, look for the mouse template the pressure guide is located right under the outline of the mouse. Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting. www.jeannettesirois.com/about-4
