This is part of the MailChimp playlist on my channel. If you want to master MailChimp, this playlist is a must. You can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6oWEK1cOrdc.html

Thank you! You are a great "explainer". I'd watched a few videos on this very subject and could not figure out how to edit defoult form fields. And the rest of the video is excellent.

Hi, I do still have a questions, everything works as you described if I am on a desktop or laptop. With a phone die form is completely out of proportion, do you know how to adjust or fix that? thanks for your help

Good basic guide covering the principles involved, but sadly compromised by the fact that Mailchimp seems obsessed with swapping all the pages and menu items around to such an extent that I needed to trawl through just about everything to find the steps required

That is definitely unfortunate. I'll create an updated version of the MailChimp videos

Can you change the form title and button caption in the form builder?

This was really helpful. The form I have looks good on desktop but is stretched on mobile. Is there a way to edit that with code?

Well explained video. Do I have to have WordPress integration turned on in my Mailchimp before this will work? Thanks

Very informative!! In case of multiple sign up forms for different categories, if I don't want to have separate audiences, rather want to tag them with a relevant tags when subscribing, is there a way to do in embedded forms.

I tried it and all its showing is the 'made with mailchimp logo' the rest shows the complete code. Do I need the business plan for this to work on wordpress? I have the cheap monthly plan and don't have access to plugins either

Hi Miss Meike, I don't use WordPress.com, just the self-hosted version, so I'm not sure if a monthly WordPress.com plan is needed. But it sounds like what is happening is your pasting the HTML code into a block that is not designed for HTML code OR it is a block that's made to show the code and not execute it. When you add a regular paragraph block into your WordPress page editor, and you click the three dots on the block for more options, there should be an option called something like "code" or "classic". If you click that, paste in the HTML and save the page, it should show the form properly.

Thanks for great guidance! It seems that some of the form fields are not coming in properly when I embed the code to my WP site (some fields are broken i.e. birthdate). Perhaps my theme is overriding the mailchimp form? Any thoughts? THANKS!

Hello! Many thanks for your video. I would like to integrate a membership sign-up form on my WordPress that also includes a credit card payment. This means: When information were entered and the payment is submitted, information gets transmitted to Mailchimp. Is there a way to automate this process? Many thanks for your help!

Hi, once someone signs up the embedded form from your blog post, do they receive an email confirmation? I’ve tried it, and didn’t receive anything. How do I make them receive a message saying “ thanks for subscribing?” Your videos are great btw. Looking forward to the next one you mention working with elementor.

When you're adding the mailchimp code to the blog post, I don't have this option in my wordpress (or I can't figure it out). At every turn, I am forced to edit using Elementor. I don't have the block with the plus symbol in it or anything. I just have a white page that says "BLOG" and it asks me to edit using elementor.

My signup looks good in preview mode, but after I publish it, it looks all wonky. Any advice?

What if i have a sign up form widget on my website and just want to embed the code but without the mailchimp visual styling overriding the one on my website? I have no idea what part of the code to cut; it's probably in the css styling but there is too much of it.
