Love this, Sandra. I've never thought of myself as particularly feminine, but at 74, I find joy in smiling and hoping to bring a smile to someone else's life, if only for a moment in time. As I step out of my car at the grocery store parking lot, I seem to say, 'You've got this!'...I add a bounce to my step and a smile to my face, hoping to meet someone's eye who would like to be on the receiving end.
Femininity is an energy. It's not a look or an age. It's the ability to recieve. It's the ability to be gracious. Its the ability to be creative. It's being comfortable with yourself that allows the divine feminine to express herself through you. 🌺
@SHHEMP1 thank you. Many will not get it as women we have been taught to embody so many masculine qualities. And sometimes we need to, so in a sense we have to be chameleons

I will be 74 in March. I am still the young girl who loved to skip down the dirt road. I give no thought to femininity, just feeling joyful and most importantly…I love to smile😊

We appreciate you more. When my husband and I, who are in our early 80's, find people surprised we're as old as we are they usually say that we don't walk like an old person. So I'd agree good posture is important. I'll have to practice that sway. Sandra, you are still a knock-out, those eyes and that smile do dazzle.

Just traveling with my partner in Mexico. We both are in our 80 and have lived a unusual life. We still walk miles a day, have always eaten a good vegetarian diet and are quite content with our age. My partner has always loved and encouraged me and i know he sees me as i am and loves what he sees. I have lots of wrinkles as i am a gardener and outdoor woman, but i have never felt that kept him or anyone else from connecting with me. You are so right keep going on, love your talks.
Positive energy I think helps us as we age as this world loves to tell us we’re old and not worth 2¢ but we are worth a million bucks with our life experience knowledge and caring we have so much to offer and your right I don’t think I’m as old as I am oh my body reminds me but my head thinks I’m younger. My new mantra- Mature Femininity! I love everything you said in this video- and I love how you are able to express all of these feelings many of us have about retaining our sense of our selves as feminine and all that implies as we grow older. I feel sad for women I see who seem to have “given up.” I am 72 and I just ordered some very pretty underwear to wear under my new dress for the summer. Staying as healthy as possible, enjoying self and life as much as possible, is the key. In the past it was expected that women took the back seat and became invisible and some lost their sense of vitality but now it is a wide open present and future to make what we want of our lives :)
Sandra I don’t know if I’ve said this before but, you remind me of my grandma Frances. She was the most gentle soul and I miss her to this day. We are not so far apart in age, you and I, but I see you as my grandma telling me to “straighten your crown dear”. Thank you for that
Thank you for another lovely video. Love that top for Valentine's Day! I turned 69 last month, nearing the big 7 - 0. I've never thought of myself as being particularly feminine, I actually want to look more androgynous most of the time. I wore minimal make-up until I was near 50, seldcm wore florals, ruffles and such, preferring tailored type clothing, but I always wanted it to fit well, accentuate the good parts and minimize, what I considered anyway, the less good parts of my physique. I concentrate on keeping relatively fit and maintaining flexibility and balance so I feel confident. The best compliment I've ever trveived after turning 50 has been "You have a spring in your step and a gleam in your eye." This is always what I'd like people to think when they see me.

It's about tapping into the innate traits like intuition, creativity, empathy, and compassion. And as someone who has not settled down yet with a husband and children, I was wondering how I am being perceived in the dating scene. Comparisons that I made to 25-year-olds etc that I would make myself as to how I am perceived by men older than me or younger than me was making me quite nervous to participate and to even being in my feminine energy. I have been told that there is an aura and energy That’s attractive about me However until I heard your video I didn’t fully feel validated as being older and be also being relevant and attractive still. I now volunteer at three different nonprofits where I am no longer an “in charge” person, but I show up and know that I am making a contribution. Sandra, this came at a perfect time for me. My friend and I retired at the same time. There is only a couple of months between us in age. We have both felt like we have aged since retiring. We chatted the other day and desided that we have become very negitive about how we look. 🥀🥀No good. So amazing that this is your topic today. I write a lot of poetry once upon a time, but gave it up years ago. I awoke today with a poem I wrote when I was 14, long forgotten, on my mind. I remembered it all and wrote it down. Amazing how the brain works. Maybe my "feminine energy" was working today.

Sandra, my children were your avid fans in northern IL! The oldest of seven will be 70 this year - our twin girls were born when my husband was in Korea (1954). One twin died of colorectal cancer less than a month after her father did of dementia (LBD) four years ago. We were married 65+ years. Since then I've lived in a retirement facility where everyone has been - or is going through - similar heartaches.. God bless you for sharing your experiences and being an example of beauty, grace and courage. I think a smile enhances feminiinity exponentially!
