I bought my husband flowers all the time and surprised him at work with them. I never asked for them, or anything really, but I did tell him which ones I liked the most. 😊
Most people are unhealed, emotional immature and not vulnerable enough to be in these types of relationships that require vulnerabilities and maturity.

Why is it that the woman has to do all the work, what about the man making an effort to connect emotionally with the woman. Perhaps there's no emotional connection because he is not making an effort to connect with her. It seems the woman has to make the man do this or that? It should be a natural process; i.e. attraction, chemistry and emotional connection. What about him making sure she is emotionally fulfilled. Come on now, these videos are always about what the woman has to do to get a man, hold on to a man and if it does not work out, it's something she did wrong or something she did not do for the man.

There's this high school thing now where a girl says, "Hey, put your arms around me." If the guy does, she then says I guess you like me. Then the goal is to have the guy stand in front of a bathroom mirror with her while she takes a selfie of him putting his arms around her and sometimes around her waste. What's this? The girl takes the selfie and posts it on her facebook showing whomever he's my boyfriend. How's that an emotional connection? Then the guy puts her (usually minimal) on his facebook to finally show other girls he has a relationship. Whatever.
