How to Empty an Ostomy Pouch 

What about putting water in the pouch and then emptying it in the toilet?

Put water in it then you don’t have to squeeze the poop out and it’s a cleaner process .Just don’t let any water get on the flange because that will compromise the flanges stickiness.

I always used a separate juice container to empty into so I could stand while emptying the bag.

I need help. My son has a ostomy. He has had it for 2 or 3 years Every night the bag leaks all over his bed and ruins pillows and all bedding. Right now he is crying in his room. The physicians have had him taking mega amounts of lomotil. We need help, his friends have left him due to cancer diagnosis. Help us please.
