Thanks for actually showing how to physically empty it! We're getting our first van with an on board toilet and I was wondering how the best way to do it was. Cheers
We use a scoop of NapiSan in little hot water... then a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil... instead of the expensive Blue stuff... heaps better... less nasty smell and much cheaper.... Gold!🤙
Thanks for the tip to push the yellow button. We also always wear large long green rubber gloves and they live in the hatch with the loo. Then as you say good hand wahing after. "Happy days"
I remember i had to do this on the morning of my wedding. In a caravan park a few new friends we made all commented i shouldnt be doing that on my wedding day. Bit its just one of the things that when it needs doing it needs doing.
That is such a huge point for cross infectiion and getting some horrible disease. Did they guy wash his hands afterwards ? And yes the pipe went into the shitter....hope no one uses the hose to fill their water containers 🤢...and how many people dump their crap in other places..yuk how disgusting 🤮
Never done this job but some say if you use the various portable toilet liquids, the task is completely odorless. As I say, never done it myself so apologies if I'm wrong.
You need real chemicals. Don't get me wrong, I'm crunchy, I go natural where possible. No regular deodorant and everything. But managing sewage really needs toxic chemicals if you don't want to smell it.
