I just purchased Dolby Atmos for my Turtle Beach 600 Gen 2 headset, and it's worth every penny! It added so much bass, loudness and clarity that I literally felt like I was in the game!
@@gobishy8011 i just went to custom, and turned every level up! Just enable everything and apply. Your headset will remember your settings everytime you use them, so you won't have to do it over again.
For those that are encountering problems with xbox one and the access app looping back and forth, I found that uninstalling and re installing along with rebooting xbox seemed to work for my problem
I cant even get that. I'm stuck in a loop where dolby tells me I need to have setting set to dolby on my xbox, xbox tells me I need to have dolby installed
I unplugged my mic and quit out of dolby, and went back to settings and tried to change it to the dobly headset settings once I replaced my mic in. It stayed this time and I opened the dobly app and it said rady to use under products and settings were unlocked.
Uninstall the app, reinstall the app. Do not open the app once you reinstall it. Unplug every audio source from your xbox “including HDMI” and then unplug the power cable for 30+ seconds. Plug it all back in and restart the xbox. Dont turn anything else on except the xbox/controller, go to your audio settings and try to select Dolby Atmos (if you cant then plug in your headset/mixamp) then try selecting it again. If you selected Dolby Atmos and it actually stays on that setting then proceed to the Dolby Atmos app, from here it just tells you to follow basic steps and provides specific audio options for your headset. This “should” work, if not then keep rebooting the xbox and try starting things up in a different load order, you will only have to do this once until Dolby Atmos actually works. Good luck
This app is great but there isn’t enough videos for the best setting like I want to hear footsteps loudly in warzone with the bass lowered so things like helicopters aren’t as loud I can’t figure it out on my own and I’ve only seen 3 videos on the best settings for it but they all make helicopters and dialogue louder
I just paid for Dolby Atmos last week and now when I go into the Xbox settings to change the audio to Dolby, it says “Dolby Atmos For Headphones requires a license” can someone please help?
I found this in a forum In-game audio issues when using Dolby Atmos: If you experience audio problems when you’re using Dolby Atmos, try turning it off: Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select System >Settings. Select Display & sound, then from the headset audio options, select Stereo Uncompressed. Frozen speaker settings after you disconnect a Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos headset: In most cases, disconnecting or turning off a headset/device configured for spatial audio (Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos) will return the speakers to their previous audio settings. However, certain hardware-such as wireless headsets using an intelligent transceiver plugged into USB-might still show the headset is connected even after it’s disconnected or turned off. Unplug the headset or the headset component attached to the Xbox. This should immediately return the speakers to their previous configuration without changing the headset or speaker audio settings. Plugging the headset or the headset component back in should restore the headset format you’ve chosen. If you’re still having problems getting Dolby Atmos to work on Xbox One, check the headset/speakers manufacturer’s website for more info.
Doesn't work. If i plugin the headphones it still says "enable Dolby Atmos" When i press on "setup", it sends me to the settings, then i press "Dolby Atmos for Headphones. But i get again a message that i need to download the Dolby app where i just came fron.

Picked up a wired headset for late night movie watching (Xbox One X is our multimedia device) and though I rarely purchase apps I sprang for this one and it made a serious difference. Thanks for the walkthrough, it filled in the parts I wasn't sure about!

@@aziza7660 yeah. And also turn on the virtualize too. Its loud af after you update the settings. Just be sure to make your audio on your dashboard max volume too.
Do i need to run the dolby access app running in background? Even if headset format already says Dolby Atmos for headphones. Or am I good I don’t have to open the app every time I play
I plugged headphones in to Xbox controller. I've been back and forth with setting in xbox and Dolby app. It will not work as intended. It's saying I have to change I'm xbox setting so when I select Dolby in xbox settings, it will not pick up headphones and just guides me to Dolby app and the app just points me to xbox settings. It is just not working for me. I have hyper x cloud 2 and I tried my Sony m3 headphones and no matter what. Nothing is working on xbox sound settings or Dolby atmos app. Help please 🥴
thanks for the video! I'm new to Atmos and not really familiar with the Intelligent Equalizer in Game Mode. Do you recommend warm, detailed, or balanced for single player games?
I can get Dolby atmos for headphones just fine. But when I play online with friends in party chat they say they hear a lot of static through my mic with my wired headphones. Is there a setting to fix this issue?
Can you get the free subscription card if you buy the Astro TR headset by itself without the mixamp? Or can you get the free subscription card if you just buy the mixamp by itself and not the headset?
What is the best sound setting forWitcher 3 on Xbox? The sound from the horse footsteps are much quieter than on the PC version. Also the hit sound when fighting with the sword. No matter which sound option I choose: Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos or DTS: X. I use a Steelseries 9X Headset. Sound is up to 100% and chatmix is full on game.
Ps5 have dolby atmos available for audio output. But i cant download the dolby access app on my console ? I want to be able to customize my own EQ . This sucks man. I dont have $250 to spend on sony playstation headset
I just bought Rigs 800 pro max whatever it called I tried to charge it at night as soon as I go to bed it literally stops charging how can I solve that problem and another thing how can I activate the headset to the Dolby
I cant hire the audio on audio and music tab! Got my headset a couple days ago! All it says is “use your headset or other device to change the volume. Ive done everything else downloaded the app , changed everything the way its suppose too! And still cant hire the headset volume!
I've been using the Dolby app for my headphones bc it came with a code, and recently the Dolby app stopped working with my headphones, the "Enable Dolby Atmos" thing still shows even after I plug in my headphones, idk what's wrong
With my headphones connected when I press the info button on my TV it shows stereo selected and not Dolby sound. Now when I remove the 🎧 it will show Dolby sound selected. Is that normal?
I have a pair of TR a40s and the box they came in said that they have Atmos built in but the app keeps asking me to buy a sub to dolby Atmos. What do I do?
I cannot hear Any three dimensional audio on my headphones and I cannot place the direction of where sound is coming from. Any fix for this. Playing on Xbox series X with Astro a 50s
Hi folks, I recently have been experimenting with my Nova’s and have also downloaded the Dolby Atmos app on Xbox, however I created a custom equaliser profile on the DAC and have since downloaded Atmos, what I am now wondering is if the equaliser settings on the DAC are going to conflict with the Atmos app settings? No one seems to have ever asked the question when I search online?
Someone please help me!! I have just purchased some A40’s. I have installed and entered the Dolby Atmos code and I also have the Astro command centre. If I edit my EQ settings in the Astro command centre is that all I need to do? Or do I need to change the settings in the Dolby app? I’m trying to get my get the perfect settings for footsteps but can’t seem to get it right. Thanks in advance!!!
I have the astros a40tr the white mixamp, I can’t use my optical cable with my series x, I was looking at buying the Dolby app but is there a way to get the tournament EQ the astros have through this app or similar
So I have Astro headset have Dolby access and have code. Go to settings to enable. It sends me to app. Try to enable on app. Sends me to settings. Back and forth. Headset is connected
Can anyone tell me why my Mic isn't working? This is a birthday gift from my brother and I'm trying to set this up. The sound and everything works but I can't figure out why I can't talk through the Mic..... Please help
Thanks for the video! Now I'm debating on just getting Dolby atmos instead of getting a whole new headset for it. Or will it not work with an old pair of headphones?
Yeah, this is the rub -- different sound drivers (amplifiers, televisions) process sound differently. So to universally say "this is better than that" isn't true -- and the are definite advantages/disadvantages of various solutions. In general, wired signals are more powerful than wireless (so Xbox Controller is less powerful than TV) but is TV better than Xbox? It depends on your audio latency and how powerful the signal is, so your mileage will vary. And most important, you have the "golden ear" so you have to use what sounds best to you. :) Good luck!
I have bought the Gear up rig 400pro and my microphone doesn't seem to work however the speakers are 100% fine aside from not allowing me to talk with friends
Works well... But for warzone.. Ive no idea what eq to use... Generally keep it on gaming. But as there's no sound on the eq ive no clue what to set what's what
Sorry De'Angelo. It's a lot of information to explain without losing interest. According to RU-vid metrics, rarely do people make it to the end. Am I THAT boring? ;)
I installed it, and it’s practically broken my games (metro exodus in particular) and all it has done has lag my games, make crackling noises, and popping noises. 😐
the audio works for me fine. it’s just the mic. the mic doesn’t work and idk why. and i play rainbow 6 competitive and using the xbox app isn’t always fun for a mic. so is it a setting too or?
I redeemed the code 2 years ago and it recently ended, I just bought another headset (rig) with a sealed code but it says "you already own this" why can't I redeem the code or renew the code?
Thank u for it but how do I use a promo code bc I recently bought a headset and it gave me a promo code i can use which will let me use the dolby access for 2 years but idk where it is
unknown 2593 If you’re taking about the code to redeem, its via the Xbox Store Page and then Redeem Code. You can also sign into your Xbox account and go to Xbox.com/redeem.
Thank you so much that actually helped my apologize I just joined the xbox live community 3 months ago and I bought a headset since I play R6 competitavly and I thought headset will help instead of just the TV I really appreciate and keep up the amazing videod
Once you buy the license do you have to keep paying on it? And does it work for multiple headsets? And do you have to buy it again for like a TV Dolby access app?
It’s account bound. So one buy, per account. So carries from console to console, headset to headset - as long as your account is signed in, you can use it. And it’s a one time fee. Hope this clarifies. 😎
Please help - randomly dolby vision is no longer an option in the dolby app under products. I've paid for it, it was working fine yesterday, but now does not show dolby vision. I only see dolby atmos for headphones and for home theater.
@@vypermajik randomly yesterday when I got on my Xbox it says dolby vision again under the products section. I didn't do anything different or change anything, not sure what happened but I guess I'll take out. Assuming an app glitch of some sorts.
