For all that says on CMD "Acces Denied".......... U must to open CMD as administrator just right click on it and "Run as administrator" =D I hope this will help
Omfg, you need to do this when you're logged on as an admin acc. Yes but you can easy open the cmd as the hidden admin acc itself and here is how to do it: 1.Start the computer/laptop and shut it down 2.Press enter at "launch startup repair" 3.Wait a little bit, it will show you a window. 4.Press cancel 5.Continue waiting(it may take a while) 6.After waiting it will show some kinda of error. Press "more details" or something like that then lick on the second link from the below of the error. 7.When the notepad opens, click on file->save as 8.Make sure you have all files checked as "save as" 9.Now go to C:\WINDOWS\System32 10.Search sethc.exe 11.Rename sethc.exe to anything eg: sethc_backup.exe 12.copy cmd.exe 13.paste it in C:\WINDOWS\System32 14.Rename the copy as "sethc.exe" 15.Once you're done restart and when the logging in shows press 5 times SHIFT key 16.That's it! You opened the CMD as the hidden admin acc. Now you should try the 2nd method (the cmd method)
If i have a win 7 laptop, & want to delete/uninstall the norton a/v pgm, it has to be done by the administrator, will disabling tthe acct, make it so the pgm can be deleted? Thanks 🤓 i am the only user, as i reset win 7, but the admin acct still shows up. May have to log in as, or set up the admin acct correctly
For all people saying it says "Access Denied" on startup, do the option "safe mode with command prompt" and hit enter. When command prompt comes up, type in this: net user (administrator name) (administrator password)
I'm sorry but this doesnt work on home premium 2012. I am the administrator and it still wont let me change files on my c:\ drive, even with full permissions, which is really really annoying when you're trying to edtit game files.. any other idea's?

Actually you need to be an admin to do that, if you're a non admin you can't do that, put the note saying if you're not admin don't do this. Trust me, I'm not admin
Jewish Milkman I don't have admin....even if I open as admin it gives me access denied....I've even tried safe mode...it then applies correctly but when rebooting it is still disabled.

Sometimes there are errors even when running CMD as admin. type lusrmgr.exe into your search bar and run it, and activate it there. But it only works on Windows Enterprise or Ultimate
I used this method for a lot of times. Every time the CMD told me "successful". But any account, whether the old one (also should be administrator), or the new one "administrator", neither has the real right of administrator. Could you please tell me why?
I feel like i'm the only one trying to "disable" the hidden admin account. I bought a refurbished computer and on startup my computer will always load that one, when i change to my other administrative file it dissapears. Only to rinse and repeat upon start up. Also i have alot of start up errors, with my computer having to "prepare for startup" every time... windows 7 is some shit.
Hi It was good but what if the Admin Account is Disabled and the User does not know the Password of his account and wants to log in without formatting windows DO u know the Crack of it
