It seems i upset a couple of people with my choice of title for this video, so to clarify YSS is a shader pack that gives the appearance of being real RTX. The YSS shader uses the RTX toggle to deffer the games rendering engine to the shaders own engine and this is why it seems like its real RTX, but to confirm it is of course not real RTX as this is not possible without a proper RTX card. As you can see in the video this is the closest you can get to RTX on a non RTX device and i felt it was good enough to be in the same class as RTX. Lastly; Minecraft has changed since this video was released so you should always check YSS discord before carrying out the installation as this process may have changed.
This is possible without an RTX Device. It's just really difficult to get it working and the performance really isn't that great. I've showcased this in a video of mine.
helpful vidoe, while i was looking for actual rtx it is still not a waste of time. i know that my graphics card is capable of ray tracing i just cant do anything about it because tech monopolies exist
Please don't mislead people with that title. RTX2Deferred doesn't magically enable RTX on any pc, It just uses the RTX Toggle in-game to use the Deferred Render for YSS SE (YSS SE is the the shader that you are using, not RTX).
i think anyone with common sense knows that, because if you know a little about pc's it's obv that ppl that don't have rtx support can't just magically get that
@@Prodby_Dre Most bedrock players are teens and pre-teens, do you really expect most of these kids to have deep enough knowledge about how shaders and raytracing works?
It looks different from RTX… strange. I think it’s something to do with the graphics card since RTX is not supported. It’s almost like a shader but better!
It actually uses something called screen space reflections, not rtx but still a lot nicer looking than typical shaders. While rtx might technically be possible to activate on non rtx cards, that is only if nvidia releases the drivers for rtx onto non rtx cars, which i doubt they will do since it will majorly tank performance 100x worse than these shaders

Says I need permission to edit files? I had gave myself admin permissions to get into the Windows.Apps folder but now I need permission to move files and replace??
There was a recent post in YSS discord saying not compatible with current version not sure if this is the cause or not, you would need to speak to them on the discord
I dont find the renderer folder in the minecraftuwp folder i only have AC,AppData,LocalChache,Localstate,roamingstate,settings,systemAppData andTempState can anyone help?
Sounds like your in the wrong folder, you should be navigating to : C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_1.19.6301.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\data

when ever i press my world in minecraft it turns black for a few seconds and crashes my game and btw my minecraft preview version is 1.20 is that the cause and how to fix it?
last time i looked YSS had said there was some incompatibilities with latest version of Minecraft, it could be that, i would recommend contacting them in their discord to see what they say.
i have some problem about IObit Unlocker application. it reports back as "Unlock & Copy failed" I'm sorry because I use translator so I may have grammatical errors :))
Will this mess with multiplayer at all? Also could I launch the regular mc bedrock launcher and this still work? I’m afraid that it’ll either make it so my friend can’t join my world or that when I launch the other launcher and make changes to my world then it’ll be separate from the regular launcher and wont change. Hope this made sense
The RTX element is local only, so does not effect multiplayer servers like hive etc. however if they force a pack on you then it might not be an RTX pack so may not make a difference. If doing on local worlds it will add the pack to the world if not done from global resources but I don’t believe it will stop your friends from joining, as long as it’s done from global resources it should effect your world at all how we you would need to use the launcher still to enable it. Best to try it on a copy of your world first but should be fine

I will say this a great tutorial, tho you forgot to explain some parts which was well needed like "Extraction for the YSS Folder before trying to copy the files inside" and so on, but I got through it and everything worked just only the clouds and sky changed nothing else, is it maybe by chance because it's in 1.20?
Yea, from what I understand there is some Compatibility issues with the newer version of minecraft so only really works On the older version, thank you for the feed back it helps me make better videos :)
you will need to change the security on the folder, too much to explain in comment but if you search for changing folder permission for windows you should get tutorials on it.
After i did this it broke my sky and no i dont have any resource packs enabled and i think i have to reinstall the game completely even though i made a different installation of Minecraft bedrock
i iknow im late but go to windows settings, search for graphics, click on "choose app from microsoft store" and select minecraft bedrock. Once you pressed "add", click on it and select "high performances" Hope it helps anyways
The YSS group posted a message the other day saying in compatible with the latest version, could be that causing it, might have to wait for them to update it.
@@MRBBATES1 ohh that makes so much sense thank you!! While I'm here, when installing this, Minecraft bugged out and now crashes whenever I open "my packs" in global resources. I tried deleting all packs from the folder directly but it still says there's 4 resource packs in game. My only guess is that theres some Json error and its trying to load packs that don't exist. Have you also had this issue as a result??
Depends on where you are seeing them, if it’s on a world directly this is normal as packs get copied to the world folder so even if it’s been removed the world will retain it. So you would have to remove from the world itself as well, but not seen it in global section before

@@GoldenPrime729 right click on the folder, and then the security tab, and then click on the advance button. at the top of the window it should give you permission to select yourself as the owner, once set you should be able to delete from this location, after that's done use IOBITUNLOCKER to transfer the files.
Couple of ways, either copy back the original files (did you keep them?) or if not save your words externally and then reinstall minecraft to restore to default.
