@SuperPhilthyrich Man it's been a year but could you elaborate on disabling the ABS by pressing and holding the steering wheel buttons? which buttons exactly do you hold?

@@ratijolbordi4255 this is what they say on page 11 of the Taser manual. Remember, it only works when the Taser unit is installed. Line Lock: when at a full stop and in Drive, press and hold the left arrow button on the left side of the steering wheel, and then press the Cruise button located on the right side of the steering wheel (the center button on the cruise control cluster). Note that you need to keep the left arrow button held down throughout this whole maneuver. Releasing the arrow button cancels the operation. Once the ABS light on the dash comes on and “Line Lock On” is displayed on the EVIC, pump the brake pedal twice firmly. You’ll know you’ve done the steps correctly when you take your foot off the brake - the car doesn’t move or roll forward. The ABS has your front tires locked up. Now, press the throttle and roast your back tires to your hearts content 😁 When you’ve taken your foot off the throttle and your tires have come to a stop, release the left arrow button to return to normal. If your car fails to return to normal for any reason, put your foot on the brake and put the shifter in Neutral. That should cancel everything out.

Brother do you think this will work on a Durango rt 2014? I assume it works on charger/challenger/300 cause they make srt versions of them but not sure on the Durango since the tazer doesn’t have the same features on the Durango than the challengers/chargers etc

Everything was stock, if you are just enabling SRT mode, it will not mess anything up. If you decide you don't want it anymore, log in and disable it.

I have a 2011 Chrysler 300c and tried but no luck. Would I have to purchase the bypass cable? I used the odb cable he recommended and read it couldn't connect

It all saves. Think of your car being in the factory. The engineer will log into the system and tell the computer that it is a 5.7 RT. The same computer is used on the SRT, so they log into the same computer and enable the SRT options.

As long as it is not the bluetooth option. From what i researched they said do not get the BT option on the cable.

That is a factory option.

What cable did use? You have to update the serial port connection settings in your laptop. I don't have my Varvatos anymore so no way for me to check.

So what happened? I heard even with the Tazer this sometimes happens with certain models as well. But did you disable it?

@@Tx_Jay_ the check engine light went away the next day, no clue what happened, but it’s been a week or 2 now and haven’t had any issues, I still have all the SRT menus

300c john varvatos edition has factory sport mode . It can be enabled from display

You have to get a bypass wire that goes in your trunk. 2018 and above were added a supposedly security link to help prevent theft from the standard under the dash.

Negative, I downloaded the software twice, and still no luck. I have a 2011 300c so maybe it doesn't work on that year

Update the serial port setting and use the software that is from the UK as i explained in the video.

I have a 2021 300s 5.7 Hemi and it doesn't work. My ISO Code is BCM4166 which is showing up as "UNKNOWN/UNSUPPORTED"

Never tried, but there are a lot of options to mess with, i just didn't want to go that far, just SRT mode.

the S version has more then just ECU differences then the C version, so even if you could, the only thing gained would be a change in shifting and throttle response.

I think you need to access through a remote OBD port like Tazer requires for 2018 and newer model...so buy the remote port from Tazer and it should then connect.

No, you would need to get an upgraded chip

@@imagecartel1 An upgraded chip? That's the difference between the 5.7 and the 6.4 SRT? lmao you can get a tune on most any vehicle and unlock HP its not gonna make it an SRT.
