How to Enamel. Cloisonne Champleve Technique. (Lily flower jewelry)

In this video I'm going to show you how I made this piece of cloisonne champleve enamel jewelry. Making this lily pendant I used fine silver and vitreous enamel. I started with cutting out the shape. I fused it with another sheet of silver to create the base. I domed it to prevent worping. I applied black opaque enamel on the back as counter enamel. I fired it in my kiln. I sifted the front with clear coat. I fired it again. After I folded the cloisonne wires to match the design. Next I'm applying the colors and I repeat the process two more times. Last step is the sanding process. Enamel loses it's shine during the sanding process so I fired it again to get the shine back. And it's done! I hope you liked it and learned something new.
