The fiber laser marking machine ST-F20 is equipped with 20w Raycus fiber laser and marking size is 110x110mm. It is also a machine which is ideal for nameplate engraving jobs. Except 20w laser, you can have more options of 30w, 50w and 100w. About marking scope, 70x70mm, 200x200mm and 300x300mm are available also.

I'm brand new to laser engraving and just picked up a 40w CNC Fiber Laser myself. Using factory settings I can engrave any of those black laser cards for sale on Amazon fine but on any other metals - nearly nothing! What could I be doing wrong? I've looked for a depth setting in EzCad which it came with and didn't find anything, I tried all different random MhZ and power settings and still no change. I can see a very slight marking if I set it to loop 10x for instance but not much beyond that yet the manufacturer shows it cutting deep into firearm slides and such. Of course out of China I'm getting no support so just wondered if any of you experienced engravers might know what I'm doing wrong?

You have to play around with the Hatch setting with the hZ % There are videos on RU-vid to help better understand. Also if you have a machine that you can manually adjust the focus, you can try moving that up or down. I laser etch carbide and HSS and they both etch differently on the same focus.

I'm in a pet tagging business and I want to level up the quality of engraving. So I'm planning to buy a 30W fiber laser. I have no problem with a thick tags but some tags like anodized aluminum with a thick of 1.13mm, engraving front and back is not quite thick. Do you think the laser will go through it? THANKS!

Yes, the laser will go through it. The 30W fiber laser can cut through anodized aluminum with a thick of 1.13mm. The laser can also engrave on anodized aluminum, stainless steel, copper, silver, all metal materials and some non-metal materials. If possible, we can make some samples for you. What is the difference between the marking area sizes? 70mm x 70mm vs 200mm x 200mm for example both with 30W. Will the 70mm x 70mm have better detail? Smaller line marking and spot size?

Hello, yes with the 70mm x 70mm have better detail, i.e. Smaller line marking and spot size. You can let one machine has two lenses, 70 x 70mm lens and 200 x 200mm lens.

my problem is it want to engrave a white square around the picture, what am I doing wrong? I removed the background in corel draw, imported into ezcad2, looks like your picture, but mine prints a white background. Please help.

Hello, I have the same laser and program .... the problem I have is that when I mark the piece of metal the laser creates a frame of the drawing .... it does not take png if I put a png it creates a white background around it ... Do you know how I can make that frame disappear?

Hello, this is fiber laser, which can't engrave photo on acrylic. We have CO2 laser machines to engrave photo on clear acylic. Since, CO2 laser mainly works with non-metal materials, fiber laser mainly works with metal materials.

This machine is mainly used to do engraving on metals and some plastics. It can cut some thin materials, like 0.2mm aluminum, plastic film, some paper etc.
