I'm a great fan of your teaching process, I have learnt some very Important aspects of Unreal Engine through your channel, keep up the great work Matt.
@@MattAspland man i wish you had a video with how to import cars from sketchfab to unreal (cars with skeleton and mesh and ofcource to be able to open door and drive it ...i tryed but i canot find a video on that ...(when i import the cars i get 1 milion parts of the car no skeleton, no 1 entire mesh) but alot parts of the cars .....i even did rigged it on blender but when i import i get alot splitted parts of the car .....
Awesome tutorial Matt. I just had a question. if I didnt want to use the animation for entering and exiting, but just wanted a stationary mesh with the hands on the wheel how would I do that?
amazing!!!!!! really thanks for accept the request and did trhis video you are amazing guy!!!!!!!!, really loved, i really would love some others videos like that like opening and closing doors and others type of interactions and maybe in a future how to make a "npc"(ai) do those stuffs too, like a npc is tired and sit in a chair to rest a little then get up, when rested, you really rocks!!!!!. now back to my "to find list" of tutorials finally this one was removed, lol, now aside from interactions another "to find list" for me would be a sort of "simulation character control with the top down and zoom camera, where you click in a point then a radial menu appear and based on your "choice" the character will act, like a walk to here or run to here, or when clicking in a chair then a menu appear then you click in "sit" then the character "move to chair and sit, i know it could be a lot complex but would be another "amazing type of "hard to find tutorial. again you rocks!!!! keep the awesome work.
Matt, I love your blue prints, but what happens when you use this on uneven terrain, or when you flip the vehicle?. I've tried that, and what happens is you get those funny clips like gta5 style lol
thanks for the tutorial, can you show us how to replicate opening a door while running, like slamming it through please? like outlast when we opened the doors escaping from the bad guys.
