Surely you mean, use the app 7 days PRIOR to arrival, not within 7 days of arrival.

No, he is correct. The app will not let you submit your form if your arrival date is farther than 7 days out (including the day of your arrival). It does save your eVOA as a draft though if you start the process outside of the 7 day window which is convenient 👍🏼

The official release stated "within seven days of arrival". Whether that was just a misinterpreted phrase or not, I don't know.

@@DaveDoesCambodia Translation of Government statements are often subject to mistakes and lead to issues noted. As a Vlogger giving information it is perhaps on you to correct potential mis-leading data, although in this case, most seasoned travellers would have used similar entry apps or practises as in Nepal, Philippines and Singapore .

@@DaveDoesCambodia I’ll fill in details for departure and and I’ve also gave this to my friend who regularly takes trips in and out of the country; when I took a trip to the US in April, coming back in was paper but I guess next trip in November will be e form. Looks quick and easy .

The app can be downloaded from the website; www.arrival.gov.kh Cambodia does not require proof of ongoing travel or a return ticket. But some airlines do so it's up to them. I had a one way ticket with no issues. I flew on Quatar airline.

Depends on the airline. Some require proof of onward travel. But it's not a Cambodian policy. It's an individual airline policy. So check with them and they'll tell you.

If you are arriving on an ordinary E tourist visa you can pay for a bus ticket to Thailand, Vietnam, or Laos. This will show departure and you are complying with the rules.

I used Quatar airline. It's up to each individual airline to decide if a return ticket is necessary. It's NOT a Cambodian policy.

Nothing mentioned in the video about EXITING Cambodia under this new process. I guess it’s the same. Have a QR code showing your passport pic and first page, but that alone says nothing about how long you’ve been in country.

A follow up on this: I used the app to fill out my eVOA prior to arrival and although they did recognize it, they did not scan it or do anything with it really. Upon entering, they let me through without any problems, but I did not receive the normal stamped yellow entry/declaration card that is needed to leave the country (I was unaware of this yellow card as the previous entry/declaration method). Upon my exit of Cambodia, I was unable to exit initially because I didn't have the yellow stamped immigration card that everyone else had. I was pulled aside and once they explained what the card was, I just showed them my eVOA in the app and they let me through just fine, again without scanning it. Seems like this new system is still being worked out. Hope this eases some worries for future travelers ✌🏼

No, the new digital entry system is mandatory for anyone entering the country regardless of having a visa in advance or not.

I don't know about that situation. But I believe it would apply to anyone from a foreign country when they enter regardless of nationality.

There is no business visa. To stay long term you can get the E visa on arrival which is good for 30 days. Then you can apply for your visa extension (up to one year at a time)
