That's a very impressive reversion of Eptic! His style is definitely one of the most iconic and easily recognizable styles out there, but definitely not the easiest to master!

I just saw eptic last night here at SLC UT (He put an amazing show). He stayed around after the show to talk to the people who stayed for a bit. I was lucky enough to ask him some questions. One of the things I asked him was if he did it indeed use redux. He said he doesn't use it. The thing he said that interested me that most that his sound is actually super simple and that people who try to recreate it end up over complicate it. Love your videos and hope you come to SLC again.

Its basically any basic fm bass in serum with sub enabled, and in fx enable distortion and filter and change the filter to reverb and automate the cutoff, play with distortion and make sure the distortion is below the filter becuase thats whats gonna give it that heavy beeefffff

Oddprophet = basic waves FM'ing each other plus reverb filter. That's how he gets 99% of his sounds. I paid him twice for sound design sessions so i know 100% it's reverb filter cause i saw it lol

I don't understand. I've tried everything and for some reason my Massive keeps repeating the same bass sound, and the pitch doesnt change when I play note by note. I've followed the video and used the same settings in massive but mine just doesn't sound the same as the video :/

can you try to make Peekaboo, i understand his approach to production but i just cannot get it to hit hard, my track never sounds as hype as his simple track (ex. Peekaboo x Caspa - ID) so few elements but it sounds really danceable
